Tonight's Saturday Night Cinema is this rare B-movie cult classic, A Yank in Libya. Muslims conspiring with the Nazis. It seems you could talk about those things back in free America.
"A Yank In Libya" is one of those more classic B films amongst movie buffs, as well known for its title as it is for being a "poverty row" film. The film was produced and released by PRC, Producers Releasing Company. The film has an interesting plot where Germans are supplying weapons to the Muslims (Arabs) to murder Americans.
American correspondent Mike Malone uncovers a Nazi plot for an uprising of the Arab tribes in Lybia. Pursued by Sheik David and his men, Mike takes refuge in the suite of Nancy Brooks, who is in the British Intelligence. He asks her to hide a gun and escapes through a window. Reporting the affair to British Consul Herbert Forbes, the latter tries to discourage him from further investigation, as the British are aware of the plot and are planning on staging a coup. He goes with Mike to Nancy's apartment, and she denies having ever seen him before. Sheik Ibrahim, next in command of the Arab tribe to Sheik David, is plotting with Nazi agent Yussof Streyer to kill David who is friendly with the British. Mike and Nancy have gone to David's camp, escape from Ibrahim's henchmen, and get back to El Moktar before the Arabs attack the garrison. (IMBd films)

The first scene of the horseman riding into the town through the gate, was like an Indiana Jones movie! To the “T”! I would not be surprised if Lucas and Spielberg studied this reel.

Boring, stilted, lame. I did see one German encounter with an Arab and heard him call the other “dumbkuf”. I did not see any NAZI activity. Only German and British antics in the desert. More like Sgt. Schultz of Hogan’s Heros than SS.

I don’t suppose Pam realised that during the war, the Libyans were fighting the Italians… Who were the primary allies of… The Nazis.

Which war, Omar; World War ONE? If that’s what you mean, then you’re right. However, Libyans were working hand-in-hand with the Axis powers in WWII. Also, let’s talk about context, an argument Muslims love to use when talking about the Qur’an. When the Arab is being called “Dummkopf” (Dumbhead in literal English), it’s because the German wants him to see the bigger picture (The eventual defeat of the Allied Forces.) Pamela was 100% right on this one. Nice try on you, Omar!

Now, do I paint a correct picture of your thought process, “Faceofevil007”, or do I exaggerate? I’ll tell you this: al-Ikhwan al-Kafireen will defeat Islamic supremacism. When (not if) they do, I’ll celebrate with an “Infidel Victory” sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant)!
