Congressman King, first do no harm.
That won't be easy for the cornered King. First, he acquiesced to Islamic supremacists and crossed Steven Emerson and Robert Spencer off the list of potential witnesses. Then last week, Ayaan Hirsi Ali was struck from the witness list. Now, Walid Phares.
From the very first, I have been critical of I took a lot of heat (more like smoke and mirrors) for my criticism, I stand behind it.

King's initiative was long overdue. We are thwarting Islamic attacks on a weekly basis now. He was right; he should have remained firm. Any sign of weakness and these barbarians go in for the kill.
Today I was sadly proven right again. Perhaps King will surprise us and call Wafa Sultan or Ibn Warraq or Ali Sina. But, from all signs, I am not holding my breath.
Hamas-linked CAIR complained, and King caved the next day.
No doubt it was just a coincidence, eh? Sure. And back on January 24, CAIR's "American Muslim News Briefs" mailing contained an item, "King Hearing Witness: 'We Are At War With Islam,'" linking to a piece entitled "Ayaan Hirsi Ali should not testify before Rep. Peter King," by Josh Rosenau at Science Blogs. That time, it took a couple of weeks for King to throw Hirsi Ali, a noble and courageous freedom fighter, under the bus, but by February 7 she was gone. This time, Phares was gone in a day.
And for what? Hamas-linked CAIR's press release claims that "Mr. Phares is a 'former official with the Lebanese Forces, a Christian militia.' This militia was implicated, by Israel's official Kahan inquiry and other sources, in the 1982 massacre of civilian men, women and children at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon."
This is the guilt-by-association game that the Left and its Islamic supremacist allies love to play. They do it to me all the time: I was standing in the same room with someone, and therefore I must secretly approve of everything that person has ever said and done, and everything said and done by everyone else he knows also — even if those words and deeds go against the principles I have consistently enunciated and acted upon. And so now with Phares. But there are some critical and unanswered questions: Did Phares order this massacre? Was he even there? Did he then or does he now approve of massacring civilians?
Hamas-linked CAIR doesn't ask them, of course, because the answers would most likely be inconvenient. Walid Phares is a fine researcher and analyst, with no "extreme" or "hateful" positions. It is rich indeed that CAIR, an organization with ties to a jihad terror group, Hamas, and an Islamic supremacist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, is setting itself up as the moral arbiter of King's hearings, and even richer that King is showing himself so acutely sensitive to public criticism that he is essentially allowing CAIR to play this role. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case — so named by the Justice Department. CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. CAIR's cofounder and longtime Board chairman (Omar Ahmad), as well as its chief spokesman (Honest Ibe Hooper), have made Islamic supremacist statements.
And so another witness who might have added something useful and substantial to King's hearings bites the dust. And yet a number of anti-jihad groups and individuals are preparing a full-out expression of support for his increasingly absurd and toothless hearings — evidently they're so abjectly grateful that someone, anyone, is even looking at this issue at all, that they're willing to overlook the ever-increasing signs that his hearings will be a worthless Muslim Brotherhood taqiyya charade led by Muslim Brotherhood-financed Congressman Keith Ellison (the Muslim American Society, the Brotherhood's chief arm in the U.S., paid for his hajj). Indeed, they're not only willing to overlook that evidence, but are doggedly pretending, despite the complete absence of any evidence whatsoever to support this hope, that King is poised to accomplish something regarding public awareness of jihad activity among Muslims in the U.S.
Well, I certainly hope he does. I'd be overjoyed to be proven wrong on this. But with King's shrinking-violent delicacy in the face of criticism, and dhimmi anxiety to accommodate his Islamic supremacist critics, it looks as if his hearings will only do any good by accident, at best.

A potentially controversial witness, Walid Phares, isn't expected to appear at Pete King's hearings on Muslim radicalization, King told POLITICO just now.
Robert Costa's report this week that the witness included Walid Phares, a Fox News analysts and conservative terrorism scholar, raised some eyebrows.
That's because King has told us, among others, that he plans to rely on Muslim witnesses. That angered some outside critics of the community, but King hoped it would lend the hearings credibility and avoid some distracting controversy.
But Phares is of Lebanese Christian descent, and Muslim groups accuse him of ties to Christian militias in Lebanon's brutal civil war (whose sectarian battles echo in various ways through the current American politics of Islam.
"As of now, he is not testifying," King said through a spokesman.

Pamela: King’s not a bad man; he’s just a coward. It really takes some stones to go up against these animals–as you know only too well. King’s not the right man for the job. He so much as confessed it when he started backing down from his original plans. He thought about what he was getting himself into–his family, his kids–and he just chickened out. At this point, he’s probably dying for the whole thing to go away. Credit him for a timely idea.
Does Allen West have a brother? That’s really what we need–a mensch.

CAIR is never going to agree to anyone who knows and speaks the truth.
But King really needs to explain why he pre-rejected Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the heroine of all heroines.
For example, is it because she is not a proper authority on candelestine networks, so she’s being save for other topics like FGM and human bondage?

About the case of Mr Phares:
Alot of people faught that war and even more have ties to groups that participated. These groups include Hizbo and various Shiite groups and the PLO. Is everyone with ties to Muslim Arabs groups going to be categorically reject? That would include CAIR itself.

This is becoming a joke.
Wasn’t CAIR supposed to be questioned in these hearings and not managing them?
Lebanon had a 3 (later 4) way civil war. Each did things one can consider war crimes.
To single out the Christians (who were allied to Israel and France) is basically fighting the Jihad.
Reminds me of the banning of Trifcovic, the Serb who worked for a government which’ army committed war crimes (as all sides in Bosnia committed war crimes).
Muslims are criminalizing any opposition to Jihad. Past or present. Our PC slave elites acquiesce, roll over and show their tummies.
Israel’s army is criminal
Serbia’s army is criminal
Russia’s army is criminal
Christian Lebanese are criminal
Anybody who ever opposed Jihad is criminal.
Phares is a recognized expert. He was never convicted of any crime, he travels freely between the US, EU and UK unlike war criminals.
The only “crime” he committed was to fight with his people who were facing extermination by Muslims. Hezbollah, the PLO, the Druze militias (who switched sides as the wind blew) and the Sunni groups who fought along the other Muslims at the time. Though when it came to the PLO, Sunnis and Christians set their differences apart and worked to kick them out of the country.
King needs a history lesson.
I wonder if the hearings will be interrupted by 5 prayer breaks now?

The hearings still may be effective if King asks pertinent questions and gets “5th” as a response a couple of times a day.
It appears CAIR is against educating America about Jihad. As is the SPLC who declares those who try as hate groups.
Still, the line of questioning can still be powerful as the power of subpoena.
Of course the MSM will cover this as “Kings McCarthy hearings attempting to link Muslims with terror”.
They will have experts commenting on the hearings as to how racist and unAmerican they are.
I hope King is allowing these caviats by CAIR because he wants to attract many Muslim witnesses whom he can grill once in front of him.
Even Chris Matthews took on CAIR and exposed their villainy despite him being a liberal gasbag.

Congressman West, if you are reading this please stand up and step forward. We need you to cut through all of the “can we all get along” bullshit. It takes a man who will discharge his service weapon next to the enemies head and get the answers that he needs to lead this charge!!!!

Rep King, I’m so glad you’re actually carrying out these hearings. But you DO NEED to have people like Robert Spencer and Amb John Bolton at these hearings. One of the tenets of Sharia is the al taqiyya — that means that one can lie in order to further the aims of Sharia. Muslim Brotherhood and related groups have already expressed their dissatisfaction with these hearings. Do you think you’re going to get a truthful testimony from those who would hide the real intents of those who would destroy this nation from within? Therefore it is incumbent upon the committee to have Spencer and Bolton as a balance of truth in the face of al taqiyya.

Each passing day makes it clear that Colonel West is the only one with the courage to stand.
The Center for America Progress and Media Matters have already written the script and given the media their marching orders……
Should any witnesses speak the truth about the deep rooted Isalamization of America, they and the politicians who fail to mock and discredit them, will be immediately branded Islamophobes. The sound bite attacks from the press will be vicious and run continuously.
The media has ensured that any attempt by King to tell America the truth will result in demonization unlike anything even McCarthy saw.
Seems like Soros and the quisling media have ensured that no public hearing can save America. I trust Colonel West knows how to deal with enemies and traitors within. He will have his day.

Since when is the one to be investigated, also the one to vet the witnesses that will compromise their situation? Isn’t this proof enough that we are already so heavily infiltrated that turning back is becoming more and more difficult?

individuality, perception, criteria, selectivity, and progress. Coercive
attempts produce revulsion, for such acts are contrary to an indeterminate
nature and nature’s indeterminate off-spring, man the Choicemaker.
Until the oppressors discover that wisdom only just begins with a respectful
acknowledgment of The Creator, The Creation, and The Choicemaker, they will
be ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. The rejection of
Creator-initiated standards relegates the mind of man to its own primitive,
empirical, and delimited devices. It is thus that the human intellect cannot
ascend and function at any level higher than the criteria by which it
perceives and measures values.
Additionally, such rejection of transcendent criteria self-denies man the
vision and foresight essential to decision-making for survival and
progression. He is left, instead, with the redundant wreckage of expensive
hind sight, including human institutions characterized by averages,
mediocrity, and regression.
Humanism, mired in the circular and mundane egocentric predicament, is
ill-equipped to produce transcendent criteria. Evidenced by those who do not
perceive superiority and thus find themselves beset by the shifting winds of
the carnal-ego; i.e., moods, feelings, desires, appetites, etc., the mind
becomes subordinate: a mere device for excuse-making and rationalizing
self-justification.
The carnal-ego rejects criteria and self-discipline for such instruments are
tools of the mind and the attitude. The appetites of the flesh have no need
of standards for at the point of contention standards are perceived as
alien, restrictive, and inhibiting. Yet, the very survival of our physical
nature itself depends upon a maintained sovereignty of the mind and of the
spirit.

If you are able to fully stack the deck as is being done here, not only do you acheive the benefit of the deception, but actually come off as the unfortunate victim of discrimination and need to be protected.
