In a USA Today Sunday column ironically entitled Faith and Reason (of which there is neither), the leftist antisemitic claws are out:
Where can you find U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor, novelist Nicole Krauss, and off-the-charts-anti-Islam blogger Pamela Geller on the same list? In the Jewish Daily Forward annual Forward 50, a fascinating way to glimpse a mosaic portrait of the Jewish story of 2010.
So reads the opening paragraph by yet another clueless dhimmi, this time at USA Today, covering the Forward 50 (covered here at Atlas). Why do leftwing propagandists carry water for the most oppressive, radical, intolerant ideology in the world? Does this worm have daughters? Does she have a clue what she is defending? It would behoove this supplicant to send her daughters to college in a Muslim country, preferably northern Sudan, Iran, Somalia — yes, that would be a wonderful experience of multi-culturalism.
I am counter jihad. Is she pro-jihad?
I fight for women, children, moderate Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs — does no one matter to this toady but Muslim supremacists?
I did not post mis-information on the Ground Zero mega mosque. The morphing mosque narrative kept changing. First the dishonest Imam Rauf said it was a mosque, then a prayer space — but a prayer space is a mosque, etc. And her saying it is "two blocks from the World Trade Center footprint" is implying that I am lying when I call it a mosque at Ground Zero. But that Burlington Coat Factory building that they are going to tear down to build this mosque is part of the Ground Zero attack site: the landing gear from one of the 9/11 planes crashed through its roof and severely damaged the building. This building is part of Ground Zero, and that's why Rauf and Co. want that location: it marks the spot for their triumphal mosque, like the Dome of the Rock on the site of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
But what is the Jewish voice of Pamela Geller? The Forward describes her as
… a far-right, anti-Muslim provocateur. Known for her outrageous rhetoric and her Ann Coulter-like glamorous, she was a key voice in spurring on the grassroots fervor that eventually catapulted the story into the mainstream political discourse.
What she did was actually post mis-information on the Islamic Center, planned for two blocks from the World Trade Center footprint, as "Mosque at Ground Zero: Adding Insult to Agony."
While Geller outraged Muslims — and many Jews and Christians, another activist on the list is creating hubbub among Jews who are fractured over Israeli-Palestinian relations and Middle East politics. Israel's policies toward the West Bank are a vigorous and respected area of discussion — in Israel. But in the USA, Jewish institutional leadership generally takes are hard line to the right.
Keep fighting for misogynists and annihilationists. Good luck with that, sister.
