SIOA’s Honor Killing Education Campaign: Taxis Nix Honor Killing Vicitms “Offensive”, But Strippers are OK

I was pleased when I was approached by Jeff at Verifone Media Solutions to run our freedom campaign on top of their taxis in Chicago I thought it was a prayerful medium to get our message to the people hungry, staring for this kind of information

Phase II of SIOA's (Stop Islamziation of Amerca)  pro-freedom ad campaign to raise awareness of the rise of honor killings in the West and to hekp young girls living in homemade concentrations camps unable to escape was the logical follow up to the "Leaving Islam?" bus campaing (soon to break in another big US city.)

This is  growing problem tis being hidden and obfuscated by the big liberasl press. It needs the spotlight of truth to expose the ugly terrible truth behind the wretched existence of these girls living under seige.. The West is reluctant to speak of it, media white washes it but knowing what we know  about Aqsaa Parvez's homelife  (rread the whole horrible account  thing here)) and Amina and Sarah's hwretched ome life (read here) it is time we stood up for these girls. . This cannot stand in America.

We must give these girls shelter from the storm.

Don't be afraid. Fight back. We have people who can and will help. Today we launched a freedom campaing in Chicago for victims and potential victims of honor killings in the West.

Here are he first in a series of ads targeted at girls who are at risk of death, Gulsum, Banaz
,  Noor, Amina and Sarah ………….. we have thousands

These girls will not have died in vain. These girls are not invisible. Their terrible, miserable existences will be known and their stories will save the save of other girls and boys in trouble.  Such misogyny was unheard of this country 30 thirty years ago — the appeasement of Islam and the sharia will only serve to advance this grotesque ideology.

And according to one expert, honor killings are on the rise.

And while we see  in rare instances in other cultures, it is clear that the Islamic legal toleration for honor
killings leads to an increased rate of such killings among
them.

Worldwide trends in honor killings

Although Sikhs and Hindus do sometimes commit such murders, honor killings,
both worldwide and in the West, are mainly Muslim-on-Muslim crimes. In this
study, worldwide, 91 percent of perpetrators were Muslims. In North America,
most killers (84 percent) were Muslims, with only a few Sikhs and even fewer
Hindus perpetrating honor killings; in Europe, Muslims comprised an even larger
majority at 96 percent while Sikhs were a tiny percentage. In Muslim countries,
obviously almost all the perpetrators were Muslims. With only two exceptions,
the victims were all members of the same religious group as their murderers. 

Needless to say – the ads were rejected. 

First let me say, I am in support of
your campaign and  that is why I contacted you for taxi top advertising. As I
mentioned earlier, all taxi top creative must be approved prior to posting. I
forwarded your creatives to upper management and they have expressed concern
that the current creative may cause issue in Chicago. We are recommending that
your taxi top creative would be more effective if you utilized less words and
directed people with your call to action messaging and website.

This morning was the first time I saw the creatives as well,
so I had no knowledge of what would be on your ads.  The Operations Manager
suggests that if we remove the orange part of the ad and made the black text
font larger we could have a better chance of getting approval. VeriFone would
like to find a solution that works for both parties. Please let me know how you
would like to proceed.

To which I replied:

Jeff, I appreciate your efforts in this.  I  was very enthusiastic when you
contacted me to advertise on the taxi tops, whish is why I was flabbergasted by
the reaction to the ads.
 Of course, we are incurring immense expense in creating and recreating
these ads with our ad agency. Something to keep in mind.
 
These girls deserve a voice. Please consider that.

And then wrote back VeriFone and  started reworking the ad with Big Fur hat – dhimmi it down a but. And wrote to Jeff:

I am reviewing your suggestions. What if I removed the word murdered  and
Islamic (despite the fact that they were) and said instead – "Honor Killing
Victim"

Would that satisfy the TLC?

We receive no big money contributions  – the big money is comfortable giving over their money to folks that do a lot of talking, talking talking oer lunches, teas and nonsense.

That's not us. And I make no apology for my uncompromising stand on our freedoms and my abhorrence of the radically intolerant sharia. Not  in my country.

The stripper ads are fine for taxis: Woemn peddling their flesh, that's not offensive but murdered girls running to safe their lives, that's offensive!

Are you suggesting that the girls disappear?
You can't mean that – that the girls are ……….offensive?
I  am misunderstanding you, right?
There is no campaign without the girls. It's not as if I am showing what
they looked like when their bodies where found.

you are still working with us. After reviewing your second round of creatives,
VeriFone feels that your ads would be more effective with simpler text-just the
text in the black box.  We are all empathetic to your initiative and this
messaging would serve to direct Chicagoans to visit your web site for more
information and help spread the word on your cause. Also, I feel this revised
copy would have the best shot of getting final approval (which is what I am
fighting for!) if we went this route.

I will further "soften" the campaign– how do you suggest I do that? The bus

girls did not die in vain. Do you want me to remove the line of copy under Honor
Killing victims? Leaving out the who the murderer was? Just "Honor Killing
Vicitms"?


Honestly,
I don't understand what is objectionable  about the ads. Do you need the news
accounts of the honor killings, the indictments and
convictions?
