Nihad Awad, radical CAIR leader with well-documented Hamas ties, unveiled a blueprint for Islamizing America at the terror-linked ISNA conference, urging their 4,000 mosques to fund Muslims to infiltrate and reshape U.S. institutions, boasting of unseating Biden, and demanding Palestine dominate American politics—proving these Islamic supremacists seek power, not coexistence.

Nihad Awad, the radical founding member and current president of the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), delivered a chilling speech at the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) conference. CAIR, an organization with well-documented ties to Hamas, has long pushed a dangerous anti-American Islamic agenda under the guise of civil rights. Speaking in front of ISNA, Awad laid out a subversive vision for the future of America. His rhetoric revealed a long-term strategy to entrench Islamic influence in American institutions, politics, and media.

ISNA and CAIR: A Dangerous Brotherhood Nexus

ISNA, much like CAIR, has a deeply troubling history. Both organizations were named unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terror financing trial in U.S. history—the Holy Land Foundation case, where millions of dollars were funneled to Hamas. In Canada, ISNA lost its charitable status in 2018 for financing terrorism. ISNA’s founding mission was “to advance the cause of Islam and serve Muslims in North America so as to enable them to adopt Islam as a complete way of life.”

He explicitly urged Muslims in America to view their struggle as a continuation of the Prophet Muhammad’s mission—one that involved tearing down the existing social and political order to establish an Islamic alternative.

Perhaps the most alarming part of Awad’s speech was his roadmap for embedding Islamic power into American society. “We have to be in the halls of Congress, we have to be in the newsrooms, we have to be in the classrooms, we have to be in the books, and we have to be in the courts,” Awad declared.

He then laid out the numbers:

• 4,000 mosques nationwide should each establish funds for five annual scholarships in journalism, law, filmmaking, political science, and history.
• If every mosque followed through, by 2029, there would be 4,000 new Muslim attorneys, journalists, filmmakers, political scientists, and historians in the U.S.
• Within 15 years, he projected this number would grow to 50,000 Muslim attorneys, 50,000 journalists, 50,000 filmmakers, and 50,000 political influencers.
• This pipeline would allow Muslims to shape laws, media narratives, education, and historical interpretation.
• Currently, 43 state delegates in the U.S. are Muslim. If they run for Congress, he claimed the number of Muslims in office could grow to 50 in the next six years.

This is a long-term strategy for ideological and political control—not a simple desire for fair representation.

 

 

The “Palestine First” Strategy: Weaponizing the U.S. Political System

Awad also made it clear that Palestine is not just a foreign policy issue for American Muslims but a “domestic issue.” He boasted that through pressure campaigns, street protests, and political maneuvering, activists successfully “unseated” Joe Biden—a dubious claim, but one that demonstrates CAIR’s belief in its political influence.

He urged Muslims to keep the pressure on government officials to adopt a more pro-Palestinian stance, furthering the agenda of Islamic power in the West.

“Palestine should be present in City Council resolutions, in state legislation, and in federal legislation everywhere,” Awad demanded.

Despite CAIR’s open engagement in political activism, the organization continues to enjoy a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, shielding it from financial scrutiny while allowing it to receive tax-deductible donations. Yet, CAIR’s activities—such as organizing pressure campaigns, interfering in U.S. politics, and allegedly assisting political candidates—raise serious questions about whether it is in violation of federal tax laws.

Reports indicate that CAIR has engaged in direct political lobbying, particularly in efforts to unseat politicians deemed insufficiently supportive of its Islamic agenda. In January 2024, investigations revealed that CAIR had potentially violated tax-exempt rules by actively campaigning for Joe Biden’s election. If these allegations are substantiated, CAIR should no longer qualify as a tax-exempt nonprofit and should instead be subjected to the same regulations as political organizations.

Additionally, CAIR’s role in shielding Islamic communities from legal scrutiny has raised further concerns. In January 2025, following a terrorist attack in New Orleans, a Houston-area mosque advised its members to avoid speaking with the media and to refer any FBI inquiries to CAIR and the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. It also raises troubling questions about whether CAIR is using its nonprofit status to obstruct investigations into radicalization and terrorist activities.

The legal challenges CAIR faces now go beyond its rhetoric; a federal magistrate judge recently ordered CAIR to reveal its funding sources, exposing potential foreign influences on its operations. This ruling could provide insight into whether foreign Islamic entities are covertly financing CAIR’s efforts to reshape American society.

Islamization of America: Not a Conspiracy, But a Stated Goal
