ABC News Reports on “Very Touching” Texts Between the Kirk Assassin and His Furry Trans-Boyfriend

Media outlets are running interference for Robinson. CBS said the alleged shooter’s motive “remains elusive,” and Scott MacFarlane said on “Face the Nation” that “there is no indication or no idea yet” if transgenderism played a role in this shooting. Scott Jennings went on CNN and absolutely destroyed his fellow panelists: “I think it’s dangerous and irresponsible for nobody to take responsibility for 10 YEARS of the use of the language ‘fascism, Nazis, authoritarian,’ so on and so forth! It’s on the BULLET CASING.” “‘Why did I do it? I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.’ That’s the message Tyler Robinson sent to his roommate. That is what he said. He also engraved the word, ‘hey, fascist, catch’ on the bullet.” “For 10 YEARS, we have heard nothing from the left but that Donald Trump is a fascist, Republicans are Nazis, authoritarians, destroy the Constitution, bloodbath, he wrote it on the BULLET! And he’s been obviously marinating in some kind of information that radicalized him based on what he heard in the air in this country!” “[The prosecutor] read very lucid messages from a shooter who was motivated by political hate who had a plan to get away with it. He did not sound like a deranged person. He sounded like someone who had decided to take it upon himself to rid the world of someone that he hated politically, that he thought that the world would be better off without!” (Townhall).

ABC’s Matt Gutman says that the messages of the shooter confessing to the m*rder of Charlie Kirk were "VERY TOUCHING."

The report is from Matt Gutman. They seem to be doing all they can to present a sympathetic picture of a man charged with a cold-blooded assassination.

Curtis Houck of Newsbusters: Gutman was reporting from the site of the press conference when he told World News Tonight anchor David Muir something “that stood out” was “those text messages” between the suspect and his roommate/lover. “I don’t know if we have seen an alleged murder with such specific text messages about the alleged murder weapon, where it was hidden, how it was placed, what was on it, but also it was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect,” Gutman declared. But, wait, there was more: “A very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who is transitioning, calling him ‘my love’ and ‘I want to protect you, my love.’” He finished this stunning piece of outrageous analysis by asserting a “duality” of both murder and love: So, it was this duality of someone who the attorney said not only jeopardized the life of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case. And then, on the other hand, he was, you know, speaking so lovingly about his partner. So, a very interesting and, as Pierre [Thomas] said, riveting press conference[.] (Newsbusters).

Bonchie: I’m at a loss for words…. Tyler Robinson murdered a husband and father of two young children in cold blood, and ABC News is all but justifying it by explaining that the shooter just wanted to “protect” his trans-furry boyfriend and that their relationship was “touching.” The level of depravity in Gutman’s description of the situation that way is unfathomable (Red State).
