On March 27, 2025, federal authorities arrested Henrry Josue Villatoro Santos, a 24-year-old leader of the MS-13 gang, an illegal immigrant who was living just minutes from our nation’s capital. The arrest took place in Dale City, approximately 28 miles south of Washington, D.C., as part of a coordinated effort involving the FBI, ICE, and local law enforcement.

Villatoro Santos, a Salvadoran national living illegally in the U.S., was charged with illegal possession of a firearm after authorities found multiple guns, ammunition, and suppressors in his home. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi described him as one of the top three MS-13 leaders in the United States and the head of the gang’s East Coast operations, emphasizing his involvement in violent crimes.
The operation was hailed as a significant step in the Trump administration’s crackdown on transnational gangs, with President Donald Trump and Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin praising the effort. Villatoro Santos had been under FBI surveillance throughout March, and officials are seeking his deportation to El Salvador following the arrest. (Grok)

Gov. Youngkin reacts to the arrest of the MS-13 gang leader:
“I’ve been working on this for the first 3 years of our administration with little to no help from the Biden administration.”
Watch: VA Governor Glenn Youngkin just said the task force used to capture the MS-13 leader was designed in the White House and stood up “immediately.”

The FBI on Thursday announced the arrested a top MS-13 gang member in Virginia. The unnamed suspect, 24, was taken into custody in Woodbridge, Virginia (Just the News).
