Outgoing President Biden has confirmed he left a letter for his successor, Donald Trump — but wouldn’t reveal what it said.
“That’s between Trump and me,” Biden told reporters outside the White House.
Former House Speakers Gingrich, Boehner and McCarthy arrive for inauguration
Former House Speakers Newt Gingrich, John Boehner, and Kevin McCarthy arrived for the inauguration around 10 a.m. in the Capitol Rotunda.
The 50th, 53rd and 55th speakers joined current Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) for the occassion.
Notably absent was 54th House Speaker Paul Ryan, who worked with President Trump during his first term.
