Terrorists in Melbourne, Australia poured petrol on top of a synagogue and set it ablaze while Jews were still inside.
Two people were taken to the hospital for severe burns.

A devastating fire ripped through the Adass Israel Synagogue in Ripponlea, Melbourne, early Friday morning, wounding two people and causing significant damage to the historic building.
Detective Inspector Chris Murray of the Victoria Police told reporters on Friday morning that the fire was “deliberately-lit.”

He added that a witness, who was attending morning prayers, saw two individuals wearing masks who appeared to be spreading an accelerant of some type. Murray reassured the public that the police would do everything they could to bring those responsible before the courts once identified.
“I unequivocally condemn the attack on a Melbourne synagogue,” Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said, noting, “I have zero tolerance for antisemitism. It has absolutely no place in Australia.”
“The violence and intimidation and destruction at a place of worship is an outrage. This attack has risked lives and is clearly aimed at creating fear in the community,” he added.

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has abruptly cut a press conference short as she was being accused of losing control of the state after a Synagogue was firebombed in Melbourne.

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has cut a press conference short after she was peppered with questions from a leading Jewish rights activist who accused her of losing control of the state and failing to keep the Jewish community safe after a Synagogue in Ripponlea was firebombed in the early hours of the morning.
ADVERTISEMENTMs Allan attended the scene in Ripponlea after Addas Israel Synagogue was destroyed in a suspicious blaze.
The Premier condemned the “act of antisemitism” and announced that the Victorian government would provide $100,000 to the community to rebuild the synagogue and would increase the police presence.
However, the press conference took a sharp turn when a member of the local Jewish community, Menachem Vorchheimer, started peppering Ms Allan with questions, demanding she admit whether her government had lost control of the state and left the Jewish community under threat.
