As a young man, Ebrahim Raisi sentenced thousands of innocent Iranians to execution.

Iranian President Raisi’s helicopter crashes in landing incident, rescue operation ongoing | LIVE UPDATES
Raisi was traveling in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province when the incident occurred. Initial reports do not provide details on the other passengers onboard or the exact nature of the crash
By: i24NEWS, May 19, 2024:
A helicopter reportedly carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has been involved in an incident that may have resulted in a hard landing.
Rescue operations are currently underway, according to Iranian state television.
Raisi was traveling in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province when the incident occurred. According to the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim News Agency, emergency services are actively searching for the president’s helicopter. However, foggy weather conditions are hampering these efforts.
Reports indicate that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, the representative of the Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist in East Azerbaijan and the Imam of Friday Prayer in Tabriz, were also on the helicopter with Raisi.

Iranian state media reports that the helicopter suffered a “hard landing.”
Raisi was traveling in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province. State TV says the incident happened near Jolfa, a city on the border with Azerbaijan, some 600 kilometers (375 miles) northwest of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Later, the TV put it farther east near the village of Uzi, but details remain contradictory.
Traveling with Raisi were Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province and other officials and bodyguards, the state-run IRNA news agency reports.
One local government official uses the word “crash” to describe the incident, but he acknowledges to an Iranian newspaper that he had yet to reach the site himself.
Neither IRNA nor state TV offer any information on Raisi’s condition.
UPDATE:
Ebrahim Raisi is of course the bigger name, but if foreign minister Abdollahian is also dead, this is a much bigger deal.
Abdollahian is the one who travels the world and negotiates for the regime in Iran. He has a far more fundamental role.
His death will be massive. pic.twitter.com/eqF9ecF6p4
