Recently retired government bureaucrat Anthony Fauci just appeared at a university virtual event titled, “Pandemic Lessons and Role of Faculty in Pandemic Preparedness with Dr. Anthony Fauci.” During the conversation, Fauci, who is now affiliated with Georgetown University, made it clear that he still supports locking down society in the name of a virus, adding that lockdowns are a great tool to forcibly “vaccinate” people.
During the interview, as reported by Jordan Schachtel, Fauci recounted the lockdowns and measures introduced in New York City several years ago, claiming the city was overrun and had “cooler trucks outside because they had no places to put the bodies.”
You had to have something to immediately shut down the tsunami of infection. That lockdown was absolutely justified.
Lockdown has a purpose. One of the purposes, if you don’t have a vaccine, it’s to get more ventilators, get the hospitals better prepared … until you decompress the pressure on the hospitals.

But then Fauci added that lockdowns could be deployed to also increase inoculation rates.

Fauci said, adding that “lockdowns have a place, but they are not a permanent solution.”

Moreover, he went on to emphasize that “we are not done with Covid,” and of course recommends the new updated boosters to come this September and October.
Several days ago The WinePress highlighted the renewed international fears that Covid cases were rising, due to several reported variants, depending on the source. Some headlines indicated that lockdowns could return, as some venues and institutions decided to reinstate mask-wearing, social distancing, and quarantining.

Fox 5 also implied that mask mandates may soon be returning, even insinuating viewers to stock-up on masks before supplies run dry again.
