I remember reading about glory holes, and it occurred to me at the time that all it would need would be a sadist on the other side, possessed of a cut throat razor, and shrieks of anguish would rise to the heavens. I suppose it would be a case of one pervert servicing the needs of another!

Oh … how the world has changed. I was in my latter forties when I first heard the term “glory hole” and what said term involved. It was described as a poor heterosexuals romp with a prostitute, so ugly that she couldn’t make it on the street.

It wasn’t until I was in my fifties that I was informed that a “glory hole” was a popular feature at homosexual bars and clubs. Obviously not filled with female prostitutes.

I had been in the military. In private business, I had taken assignments, many long term, in foreign countries thousands of miles from the “Big Island” (U.S. mainland), so it wasn’t as if I had just stepped off the family farm in Iowa.

Glory holes and squishes bastardizing the English language by calling homosexuals “gay”.

What a world in which we live, filled with squishes and …..
