Trump tops DeSantis by 38 points in new poll after news of indictment

Former President Trump topped his closest Republican challenger by nearly 40 points in a new poll of likely GOP voters following the news of his federal indictment.
The CBS News and YouGov poll found that 61 percent of likely GOP voters would vote for Trump in the 2024 Republican primary. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) trailed in second-place, garnering 23 percent of the vote.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and former Vice President Mike Pence each received four percent of the vote while presidential candidate Nikki Haley received 3 percent of the vote. When asked what candidates they would consider voting for right now, 75 percent of likely GOP respondents said they would consider Trump and 51 percent said they would consider DeSantis.
Twenty-one percent of voters said they would consider Scott, 16 percent said they would consider Pence and 15 percent said they would consider Haley. Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy received 13 percent of the vote, while former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie received seven percent when voters were asked what candidates they were considering.

When asked what should happen to Trump if he is convicted of the federal charges, 80 percent of likely GOP voters said he should be able to be president.
The Justice Department charged Trump in a 37-count indictment last week over his handling of classified materials after leaving the White House. Justice Department evidence revealed that the former president had documents containing nuclear and military secrets and the charges hold several decades of prison time.
The poll included responses from 1,798 respondents interviewed between June 9 and 10 after the indictment was unsealed. The margin of error for the sample is plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.

The more people are exposed to these attacks, the more they realize that they have nothing to do with any “crimes” that Trump may have committed and everything about destroying him and anyone who supports him.
In essence, they are saying to people like me “You are not allowed to vote for Trump. Fuck you very much!”.
But slowly but surely, people are figuring this out.

It doesn’t make any difference how many actually vote for Trump with the way elections are now. The democoms will find a way, after the election is over, to find enough manufactured votes to win and the Republicans, at least on the national level, do nearly nothing to stop the fraud.

DeSantis should have waited to 2028 and he’d have a good shot of being POTUS. Although, he’s a great governor he shouldn’t have went against Trump who helped him win the election. It seems in politics there are no friends.

There are only three things REQUIRED of a Presidential Candidate;
1) Candidate MUST BE a “Natural Born Citizen”
2) Candidate MUST BE, at least, 35 years of age
3) Candidate MUST have been 14 years a resident of the “United States” (one of the States, several, or the District of Columbia)
Starting with the Usurper Obama, many have claimed that one must only be a citizen, born on US soil …… then why is this the ONLY place our Founder used “Natural Born Citizen”?
There was no need, unless it was very important.
Many have claimed that “we don’t know what the definition of “Natural Born Citizen” is.
Yes, yes we do …… if we actually READ the Constitution and pay attention to our Founders.
Our Founders had little experience with “International Law”. We know that they made extensive use or Emir de Vattel’s, “Law of Nations”, and that Franklin, after receiving many copies, had given some of those copies to the Continental Congress and that they were “ever in those volumes”. Further, read the Constitution ….. Article I, Section 8, Item 10, “To define and punish Piracies and Felonies on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations”. Can anyone show me any other “Law of Nations” that our Founders would have known? I think not!
So, “Natural Born Citizen” is a REQUIREMENT that ALL Presidential Candidates MUST PROVE.
Yes, we do know the definition of “Natural Born Citizen” ……. and it IS that of Vattel.
I am, already, convinced that Nikki Haley is NOT eligible to the Office
I have tried to contact Vivek Ramaswamy concerning his eligibility and have been ignored … but … I have no doubt that he is NOT eligible either.
If anyone can show me another “Law of Nations” or another definition or “Natural Born Citizen” that our Founders would have known ….. please feel free.

“Every legacy media writer who has treated this matter has forgotten one thing about the Presidential Records Act. The President and only the President decides on classification. Furthermore, when the President causes a document to go to his private residence, that document is automatically declassified, therefore personal. In plain monosyllables, what he says, goes.”

The Democrats aren’t attacking Trump’s competition. The Democrats are only scared of Trump. So logically that’s the guy that needs to be made President. The other candidates are TRAITORS. They should know that Trump should be the Nominee. If they cared about America they would get behind Trump. Not try to Sabotage his much earned return to The White House.
