NO CONTEST: Look At Who Leads BIG IN Fox News Poll For Top 2024 Republicans for White House

23

Despite the media hoopla, conservatives are wary of the Soros’ endorsement and the big RINO endorsements (Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, and Karl Rove) and RINO money flooding into DeSantis’ coffers. A true conservative would not allow themselves to be the instrument of never Trumpers.

Fox News Poll Reveals Top 2024 Republican Preferences for WH Run

By: Truth Press February 27, 2023:

One year out from the 2024 primaries, here is the debut Fox News national survey on the presidential nomination races. Spoiler alert, former President Donald Trump looks formidable, while President Biden faces doubt.

Republican primary voters were read a list of 15 announced and potential candidates for the 2024 nomination. Trump tops the list with 43%, followed by Ron DeSantis at 28%, Nikki Haley and Mike Pence at 7% each, and Greg Abbott and Liz Cheney at 2% each.

All others receive 1% or less. Even at this early stage, only 3% are unsure of their pick.

Among Republican primary voters, men, women, those under and over age 45, and those without a college degree all put Trump first and DeSantis second. The Florida governor is ahead among those with a college degree and those who think Biden was legitimately elected, and the two are within a point or so among suburban voters and those with higher incomes.

“Currently, the GOP primary dynamics are simple,” says Daron Shaw, a Republican, who conducts the Fox News survey with Democrat Chris Anderson. “DeSantis needs Trump to falter because most of the former president’s supporters see the Florida governor as the second-best choice. At the same time, other candidates need DeSantis to falter because his supporters have no single fallback option and would be up-for-grabs should he flame out.”

Trump tops Haley by 66-24% in a matchup between the two announced GOP candidates. (Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy announced his candidacy mid-survey.)

While 37% of Democratic primary voters want to keep Biden as their party’s nominee, a majority of 53% says they would like someone else to run.

That support for Biden pales in comparison to what Trump received four years ago. In February 2019, at this same point in the election cycle, 72% of GOP registered voters wanted to keep Trump as their party’s nominee – nearly double Biden’s current support.

Meanwhile, 84% of Democratic primary voters approve of the job Biden is doing as president.

“They like him and the job he’s doing, even if they might wish for an alternative in 2024,” says Anderson.

Roughly equal numbers say they plan to participate in the Democratic (40%) and GOP (41%) primary or caucus in their state. Four years ago, in March 2019, it was 41% Democratic and 38% Republican.

Overall, 77%, favor requiring mental competency tests for politicians over age 75.

Fifty-one-year-old Haley suggested the cognitive exams during the first week of her 2024 campaign. The tests would apply to both Biden (age 80) and Trump (age 76).

More Millennials (83%) and Gen Xers (84%) want the tests than Baby Boomers (66%), and more Republicans (87%) and independents (74%) favor them than Democrats (67%).

Conducted February 19-22, 2023, under the joint direction of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R), this Fox News Poll includes interviews with 1,006 registered voters nationwide who were randomly selected from a voter file and spoke with live interviewers on both landlines and cellphones. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points for all registered voters and plus or minus 4.5 points for Democratic and Republican primary voters.

It is obvious that Fox and the RINO GOP will do to Trump what the Dems did to Bernie
Every single candidate will quit and throw behind DS like they did to put up Biden in 2020
The fix is in.

They tried this back in the 2016 primaries with around 20 candidates. Trump, humorously, won.. Those who participate in this “Anyone But Trump” campaign ought to be ashamed.

I hope you’re right. In 2016 there simply was no one the whole field could throw behind.
Ted Cruze?
Jeb Bush?
In fact, some threw in with Trump, like Huckabee, Carson, and Paul
In 2024 I don’t see any pro-Trump ones running. Because those are staying home.
Unless Pence or Haley jump to Trump.

Though DeSantis isn’t a bad choice either.

Trump though has experience in the WH. I may support whoever the nominee is.

DeSantis is a Bush-Ryan-Romney man
Beholden to Wall St donors and the Haliburton foreign policy

Of course, he’d be better than the commie Dems

I laugh at conservatives hating on Ukraine and supporting DS
DS would deploy the US military to the Donbas

“DS would deploy the US military to the Donbas”
Would be a mistake. The cold war should remain cold and indirect.

I hope at least he’s learned that “boots on the ground” is usually a bad idea. i.e. Iraq, Afghanistan.

It is a terrible idea.
Hence the reason to help Ukraine now
Because if it falls NATO will have to deploy along its Eastern fronts even if war is not likely anytime soon. That would be a massive project making the Saudi deployment of 1991 look like Grenada.
A deployment that may last 45 years (if no war) and which could be deployed to fight on the slightest provocation or even incident.

There’s absolutely no proof that DS is under control or colluding with never-Trumpers you mention. I live in Florida so I think I would know. Stop listening to CNN and the left’s lies.

Trump has been ahead in the polls for a long time. Neither Halley or Pence will be in the running.

Pence just needs to retire.
I’ve seen him debate, and it just isn’t his thing.

More fake polls from the forth estate of the deep state. The desperation, to destroy the duly reelected President, whom won both the last 2 presidential elections by record landslides of monumental proportions (if votes were counted legitimately), is obvious and growing. As they haven’t taken our guns yet, these traitors WILL eventually be punished for their treason.

Useless poll. Twenty months to the November election. That is an eternity in politics.

I am afraid it might not end well, again. Who is going to make sure that next election will not be stolen?

There is some hope since the Republicans took control of the house.

However, the House GOP should have hearings on election interference every month before election day in 2024. Put the Biden FBI, DOJ, and Big Tech execs on the spot; and keep asking them to swear there will not be any elections intereference. even weeks before the election.

I will not apologize for my complete and utter lack of trust for anyone at Fox News anymore, Republican led poll or not. Murdoch and his clan of socialists have completely disrespected and ignored Donald Trump since election night 2020 when they prematurely announced that Joe Biden had won the presidential election, long before the west coast tallies or even the voting had stopped. It was even caught on live TV and one Fox staffer said on the air, “isn’t it too early to announce? as if the election results were planned to announce Biden. I stopped watching Fox News in any and all forms that night and have not watched it since. While there are a few contracted show hosts that I would consider still conservative-leaning, the majority are flaming liberal wolves in sheep’s clothing just waiting to destroy Trump in the upcoming primaries. I only watch Newsmax now and I pick my online news very carefully, weighing the content against what’s happening in the real world around me, not what I’m being told, especially on social media. As for DeSantis, he is my Governor and as a resident of the state of Florida, I do not believe the garbage being reported even by The Geller Report that Ron DeSantis is taking campaign donations from the never-Trumpers. He has been good for our state and since he’s only in the second year of his re-election, I don’t believe he would betray the state he was born in and grew up in that way. The only possible connection I believe DeSantis may have in the upcoming Presidential election in 2024 is the possibility of a VP nomination when Trump is named the GOP nominee. The left would love to lead this entire country down a path of making our Governor their scapegoat tool to destroy Trump’s chances and then do the same to DeSantis once the nominee. They think we’re all stupid and will fall for their lies. Not again! Never again!!
