Report from the Scene: Knife Wielding Maniac Screaming “Allah Akhbar” Stabs One Person in Norway Attack (VIDEO)

ADVERTISEMENTPeter Imanuelsen was on the scene today shorty after the attack.A man who has been identified as a Russian citizen has been arrested after running around with a knife and shouting Islamic phrases in central Oslo, Norway.
The man was running around bare chested threatening people with the knife, before stabbing one person who was seriously injured as a result, but is now making recovery. In a video recorded by witnesses the man can be heard shouting in Arabic “Allah Akhbar” and “I seek protection with God from Satan”.
He reportedly was chasing a woman before stabbing his victim. The woman fled for her life and managed to get away a witness told Norwegian newspaper VG.
Norwegian police fired a warning shot before tasing the man and putting him under arrest.
The suspect is known to the police from before. In 2017 he vandalized a fence at a construction site and assaulted the workers there. In 2014 he was convicted of assaulting a public employee and bodily harm.
ADVERTISEMENT“We don’t have any information that suggest this event is terrorist related” says Anne Alræk Solem of the Norwegian police.
Norwegian media is reporting that the suspect could have been “mentally unstable” and he has previously used narcotics.
This attack comes on the day of Eid, which is the end of the Islamic fast of Ramadan.
