SHOCKER: “Moderate” Jordan Pulls Out of Peace Treaty with Israel

16

The Jewish State signed a peace treaty.

Following in the footsteps of Muhammad in Mecca, Jordan signed a hudna – a deception, a cessation of hostilities during jihad, a retreat followed by regrouping and rearming, which permits an attack on the territory previously left behind.

During jihad, this amounted to a temporary truce.

Jordan’s decision to downgrade its peace treaty with Israel came as a complete surprise to Jerusalem, as it means the handing over of territories to the Jordanians.

By Jack Gold, World Israel News

Jordan announced Sunday its withdrawal from part of the 1994 peace agreement with Israel, saying the agricultural areas of Naharayim and Zofar in the Jordan Valley, cultivated by Israeli farmers over the past 25 years, will be reclaimed by the kingdom.

Jerusalem was reportedly shocked by the announcement, as it essentially constitutes a downgrade of the peace treaty between the two countries.

In fact, Naharayim – Hebrew for two rivers, as it is located between the Yarmuk and Jordan Rivers – was opened this year to Israeli visitors under the name “Island of Peace.”

“Al-Baqoura and Al-Ghamr [the Arabic names] have always been our top priority, and our decision is to end Al-Baqoura’s annexation and step away from the peace agreement based on our keenness to take whatever is necessary for Jordan and Jordanians,” Jordan’s King Abdullah II tweeted in Arabic on Sunday.

Israel returned the land to Jordan in 1994, however, according to the peace accord, Israelis were given private land ownership rights and property interests. The agreement would remain in force for 25 years and renewed automatically unless notice of termination was given by either party one year in advance. In such a case, at the request of either party, the details could be renegotiated.

The deadline for termination is October 25.

The Jordanian move was apparently prompted by pressure from within the kingdom. Many in Jordan have recently called on their government not to renew the agreement with Israel. The Jordan Bar Association sent an official letter to Prime Minister Omar a-Razzaz about the issue, while 87 out of 130 Jordanian parliament members, signed a request to carry out that body’s recommendation to cancel the lease.

Protesters marched in Amman on Friday demanding that Jordan reclaim sovereignty over the territories in question, while some urged Jordan to cancel the entire peace treaty with Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not given up, saying Israel will negotiate the matter.

“Jordan has reserved the option to reclaim the area in Naharayim near the Jordan River and the Tzofar enclave in the Arava. We were told today that it seeks to exercise this option in the 25th year. We will go into negotiations with them on the option of extending the existing agreement,” Netanyahu said.

“There’s no doubt that in a general outlook, the entire treaty is a valuable asset, important to both countries,” he added.

Roller coaster relations

Relations between the two countries has been mixed. They signed a trade treaty in 1996 and in 2014, agreed to a $500 million natural gas deal effective for 15 years.

Israel’s security and intelligence ties with Jordan are more discreet but have likewise strengthened, especially since the Arab Spring uprisings in 2011 and the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS).

Relations have also hit some rocky spots in recent years, especially over Jewish access to the Temple Mount. Jordan has repeatedly demanded that Israel prevent religious Jews from entering Judaism’s holiest – and Islam’s third-holiest – site. It has recalled its ambassador over the issue in the past.

Moreover, the Jordanian people, comprised mostly of Palestinians, overwhelmingly reject any form of normalization with Israel.

Never make treaties with muslims since muhammed made and broke treaties all the time. islamic teachings is that muhammed is a perfect man (?) and so the perfect man is without flaw, even when he broke treaties. muslims do the same to further the cause of islam. islam, the enemy of mankind. With that said, there is another reason why you never make treaties with muslims….muhammed said, “If I take an oath to do something and later on I find something else better than the first one, then I do what is better and make expiation for my oath.” (bukhari 78:618). islam, the enemy of mankind.

Sure we can. Muslims in islamic countries, non-muslims in their non-Islamic countries. Simple.

As if any Arab nation could be truly “moderate”. Jordan is still ruled by a dictatorship technically…

Muslims stick together.
The ONLY reason Saudi Arabia speaks with Israel is because their common concern is IRAN and nuclear weapons. When that concern is gone, Saudi Arabia won’t care about Israel. Saudi Arabia accepts NO Muslim migrants or refugees of any sect. They want to keep their royal family in power, with their sect of Islam controlled by them. They have “suspended” their belief that Jews are “apes and swines” for self preservation.

Quran: Jews & Christians are “Apes & Pigs” (Article by a former Muslim)

So why the pig and ape reference? Well… there are different stories. From one Muslim website (al-islam.org), we find that there was a story where Allah threatened the Jews and actually turned them into apes. Ten thousand people saw them and no one cared. Another tradition said that Israelites were fishing on a holy day (Friday, that is) and Allah turned them into apes and pigs.
Whatever the case is, the explanation does not answer why the penalty applies to BOTH Jews and Christians and also will take place on Judgment Day (according to Islam).

According to World Surveys Arabs are the most biggotted people and Jordanians the most biggotted of Arabs so don’t be fooled by the phoney image of Jordanians and their Western- looking king as being the Muslim angels an the ME. Also 80% of Jordanians are the fake Palestinians who plan to genocide the Jews and take over the wealth of Israel.

I know Israelis want to lob the F bombs at Jordan. Use the “N” bombs instead. Lob two and the entire country of Jordan can be yours.

I expect orange, figs, and dates to drop in price in a few years.

Sadly, Jordan is STILL the enemy and, as such, needs to be CAREFULLY watched! Poor Israel needs to go back on that war footing with the invading Heshimites (who were never indigenous too the land in the first place!!). Kick them back to the sands of Arabia and let them resume their natural role as camel jockeys…

Jordan
is honouring the 25-year agreement in full. Trump broke deals as a businessman
and sadly now shames the US by dishonouring ever deal he can find. He has just
discovered another one to break that is the INF deal with Russia. No doubt
pushed by the evil old warmonger Bolton. UNHCR, NAFTA, the Iran nuclear deal and
numerous other agreements have been broken. No country can trust the US again until
he goes, the have had enough of his bragging, lies, bullying and blackmailing.

Wise up – The Russians have been cheating for years and after years of administrations from both parties calling out Russia for violating the INF. They DID nothing. Trump has decided to take action. The Obama administration warned for years that Russia was violating the treaty, and last year, it was confirmed that Russia deployed new ground-launched intermediate-range cruise missile systems with nuclear capabilities aimed at Eastern Europe. President Trump would be wise to follow up on this decision by agreeing to terminate the New START Treaty, which is slated to expire on February 5, 2021. Not surprisingly, Putin asked for a 5-year extension at the Helsinki summit because he has been cheating his way through it. Countries RESPECT other countries that stand up for their rights and agreements. The world leaders watch and never know when President Trump will call out them if they are cheating and taking advantage – hardly bullying and not shameful at all.

Remember Hudaybiyyah.”
~ Yasser Arafat, Chairman of the Palestine
Liberation Organization (PLO) from 1969 to 2004

This is what Arafat said in response to criticism for his signing of the Oslo
Accords, and he received little more criticism for it, as virtually all Muslims know
about Hudaybiyyah.

Hudaybiyyah marked the occasion in which Muhammed broke a peace treaty
with the Jews when his military was powerful enough, then surprise-attacked them
and slaughtered them all.

And this is the tactic which any Islamist authority has employed ever
since, when they negotiate with ‘infidels’ at all
.

Palestinians-nice “respectful” word for “muslims”.
Muslims-the “people” who read and study the koran
Koran…if you read it, and study it, your an islamist muslim, and it’s more than probable, an extremist at that. Cause if you read it, satan will whisper in your ear, oops, I meant mohummad will. Oh, never mind, same difference…
Hmm, I’ve never looked, but I just started wondering….is the word “love”, in “their” book?

What a MISLEADING headline! The peace treaty with Jordan remains in full force and effect. The lands in question were ALWAYS Jordanian and were LEASED by Jordan to Israel for 25 years. Jordan simply decided not to renew the lease. Alarmist propaganda does not help the “cause” of hasbara — it makes “our side” look just as bad as the Pallywood agitprop crew. Shame.
