UK: British Museum celebrates Islam, but ignores the savagery

The gallery, which was opened on October 18th, explores the geographical spread of Islam chronologically, from the 7th century to the modern day… The curators have created displays that approach the subjects and the artefacts with nuance, sensitivity and skill. A “vital corrective of Islamophobia and misconceptions about the religion”? More like a cover up of the dark side of Islam that is well documented by The Geller Report. The museum’s Albukharry Foundation Gallery is a metaphor for the head-in-the-sand thinking of leftist British elites. The museum conveniently ignores the savagery of centuries of Muslim expansionism, even as the more recent onslaught of Muslim migration and theology threatens the existence of Britain itself. As “vital corrective” to the Museum’s ignorance of the ugly side of Islam (a/k/a “jihad”), get Robert Spencer’s latest book The History of Jihad from Muhammad to ISIS. Spencer notes “there is no period since the beginning of Islam that was characterized by large-scale peaceful coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims.” The book is “[d]edicated to the untold millions of victims of jihad, from the seventh century to today. May you somehow receive justice.”
