Trudeau gave Omar Khadr, who confessed to murdering an American soldier, $10,500,000 for supposedly being mistreated in Guantanamo. And now this.
The Canadian government, if it were sane, would take away his millions and give them to the widow and fatherless children of the man he murdered, and give Khadr a passport to Gitmo.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau‘s Liberal government has appointed one of Omar Khadr‘s former lawyers as a justice in federal court.
Wayne Morris says Trudeau’s decision to reward the former al-Qaida terrorist with a formal apology and $10.5 million cash settlement feels “like a punch in the face.”
“I don’t see this as anything but treason,” said Morris. “It’s something a traitor would do. As far as I am concerned, Prime Minister Trudeau should be charged.”
The Trudeau government has quietly paid a $10.5-million settlement to Omar Khadr in a move that circumvents legal efforts by two Americans to prevent him from receiving compensation for abuses he suffered as a teenager at the U.S. military detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
We have President Obama to thank for this. He released this murdering savage from Gitmo.
“It’s time for the government to close the door and apologize to him. Instead, they’re going to drag him back through the nightmares of his time in Guantanamo.”
