New Poll: Americans Overwhelmingly Reject Transgender Ideology

The majority of Americans reject the idea that gender can be different from sex at birth.

New Poll: Americans Overwhelmingly Reject Transgender Ideology

According to a recent poll conducted by The Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation, a majority of Americans reject the idea that gender can be different from sex at birth.

The poll, conducted from November 10 to December 1, found that among adults, 57% believed that gender was determined by sex at birth, while 43% believed that gender could differ from one’s sex at birth. Respondents also opposed other talking points promoted by transgender activists, such as hormones for minors, participation in sports based on gender identity, and teaching gender identity to young children.

Alyssa Wells, a 29-year-old behavior therapist and survey participant, expressed her concerns about transgenderism, stating that “My concern with transgender is mostly with the children.”

She added, “We can’t vote until we’re a certain age, we can’t smoke, drink or whatever, but we can change our bodies’ anatomy and how it works? It just doesn’t seem like that’s okay to me.”

Participants also widely supported counseling for minors who believe they may be transgender, but opposed minors receiving hormonal treatments under medical supervision. The survey found that 68% of adults opposed puberty blockers for children aged 10-14, and 58% opposed hormones for children aged 15-17, while 62% and 66%, respectively, supported counseling for those age groups.

Most respondents also opposed teachers discussing gender identity in the classroom, with 77% opposing it from kindergarten to third grade, 70% for fourth and fifth grade, and 52% for middle school. Only 36% opposed such lessons for high schoolers, and 64% supported the lessons.

Any way they can destroy our culture, society and religions the left will do it. Trans is usually due to a mental illness or sometimes being groomed as a child or in some cases having the fetal brain exposed to sex hormones in utero that confuse the developing brain into thinking that it is not its genetic sex. When medical schools teach this insanity we must stop it and hospitals cannot be permitted to make money by changing kids into the opposite sex. Just say NO!

I am just distraught at the thought that so many americans are suddenly transforming themselves from being rational thinking humans, part of the top of the animal ladder, suddenly becoming irrational brainwashed beings with no control over their thinking rationale.
