Jim Jordan Threatens to Cut Funding for FBI

Story continues below advertisementOn Sunday, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) threatened to cut funding for the FBI after the bureau’s corruption was exposed by whistleblower testimony, as well as Special Counsel John Durham’s final report.
As the Daily Caller reports, Jordan – who is also chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, as well as the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government – further discussed his plans for defunding the FBI with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo.
“In the end, money always gets people’s attention,” said Jordan. “And so, what we’re going to have to do is say, ‘Hey, FBI, you can’t use federal tax dollars, you can’t use the American tax dollars for this kind of activity.’ We got to limit how they spend the money.”
“We have to exercise our authority, the power of the purse, to limit what the federal government, what the FBI and Justice Department, are doing to the American people,” Jordan further explained, pointing out that the House of Representatives ultimately controls the government’s purse strings.
John Durham’s investigation, which lasted for four years, ultimately concluded that there was never any proof of “collusion” between President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and the Russian government, determining that any claims to the contrary were fueled by partisan political actors and foreign agents actively trying to subvert the election in Hillary Clinton’s favor; the FBI ultimately accepted these claims as truth without verifying them, and used the power of federal law enforcement to illegally spy on the Trump campaign and several campaign officials.
On Thursday, three FBI whistleblowers testified before the Weaponization Committee to further reveal instances of corruption, political bias, and wrongdoing that they had witnessed as agents. The whistleblowers also revealed that the bureau actively retaliated against them for following the whistleblower protocols, with such measures as revoking their security clearances and threatening their pensions and benefits, thus risking financial instability for them and their families.

Defunding the FBI or any law enforcement is not the answer.
How do you counter Islamist terror plots?
Or how do you counter the KGB, or Chinese Intelligence at the domestic level?
Defunding US law enforcement might sound good at first to both left and right, but it always ends up making things worse.
Instead, the answer might be decentralization or re-instituting checks and balances that were removed after 9/11. Some, not all.
No solution can truly exist without control of the Congress and the executive branch. Defunding, however, is not the solution.

Unfortunately that’s not what they are working on. Biden has declared over and over that the number one threat to America is Americans. And the FBI is going after them.

No wonder , for After that day new terrible men of the FBI has even gone after and invaded the homes by force and with false charges have falsely arrested some of those patriots had peaceful taken part in the march and rally in 1/6/21 in this nation’s capital . Those patriots form January 6 , 2021 and afterward unjustly arrested are now incarcerated and the Biden gulag. In Federal prison , Biden’s gulag , the patriots are denied their US constitutional rights and basis human rights , they are kept in small dark moldy cells , beaten severely by the vicious leftists guards and given little food to eat and very poor quality food at that. Not only TOTALLY DEFUND the fbi. But completely disband them. None of their people to be allowed to work in policing ever again. And charges of Treason need to be put forth for a lot of those in key positions. Annihilate these COWARD TRAITOROUS CORRUPT SCUM.
