How refreshing when a sports team takes a stand for America. We are so used to the Anti-American haters like Le Bron James, Colin Kaepernick, et al getting fawning press…..

Georgia football team declines Joe Biden’s White House invitation

By Ryan Glasspiegel, NY Post, May 9, 2023:

Georgia repeated as national champions but will not have a second consecutive corresponding White House visit.

The Bulldogs announced Tuesday that they are declining Joe Biden’s invitation to attend what is being deemed “College Athlete Day” on June 12.

“The University of Georgia first received on May 3 an invitation for the Bulldog football team to visit the White House on June 12,” Georgia’s athletic association said in a statement. “Unfortunately, the date suggested is not feasible given the student-athlete calendar and time of year.”

Several months back, there were gripes among Georgia supporters that the team had not been invited sooner.

“It is our hope that this repeat championship team can join the many teams prior that have been honored by the President,” a bipartisan group of Georgia’s congressional delegation wrote to the White House in January, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

In February, a President Biden official said the White House “looks forward to welcoming” Georgia, but the invitation did not arrive until last week.

The Biden White House just finished smoothing over a controversy in which first lady Jill Biden floated the idea of inviting Iowa’s women’s basketball team, which had finished as runner-up to LSU in the national championship last month.

“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do,” the first lady said after watching the game. “So, we hope LSU will come. But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”

“If we were to lose, we would not be getting invited to the White House,” Reese said. “Remember she made a comment about how both teams should be invited because of sportsmanship. I’m like, ‘Are you saying that because of what I did?’

“Stuff like that bothers me because you are a woman at the end of the day, white, black, Mexican, it doesn’t matter. You’re supposed to be standing behind us before anything.”

Perhaps there are other, more important reasons U of G chose to stay home! Good for them, and congratulations again on another great year!

Rob Schmitt reports that Biden brother Jim was thrilled to tell a meeting of Biden cronies that “we have foreign dignitaries lined up” to pay for protection and quids pro quo from then-Vice President Joe, AKA “the big guy,” when the late Biden son Beau blew a gasket and told his uncle that he can never repeat that kind of thing anywhere again. This was when Beau was running for AG of Delaware. And lest we forget, it was when “obama” was president, and as such accountable for the crimes of his VP.
But, sadly, it appears that Beau Biden’s untimely death was more than just a family tragedy, and more than an opportunity for Joe to elicit sympathy and deflect scrutiny in his stump speeches and rhetoric — it was a convenient solution to a potentially unreliable co-conspirator spilling the beans.
