Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., blasted Democratic Senator John Fetterman’s “unbecoming” decision to attend a Senate press conference while wearing a hoodie and shorts.
“John Fetterman redefined Casual Friday on a Thursday morning,” Boebert wrote on Twitter. “It’s truly unbecoming for someone to show up like that to any job, let alone a job that only 100 people are elected to do.”

It’s only a matter of time before cargo shorts and a hoodie will be a Senate norm and suit and tie will be the exception. Dressing down is now going to be a new norm showing that one is not trying to be “better” than others. It started with wearing jeans in Ivy League campuses in the early 60’s when small groups of pro-Mao students started wearing Levi’s, and stopped wearing ties and sport jackets or suits. Who would have thought that drag Queen shows for little kids would trend? Who would have thought that transitioning would ever be considered a bold expression of “freedom?” Watch. Others will start to dress down purposely for press conferences in order to be “with the people.” Fetterman’s lack of professional attire will, I predict, become quite common among public officials within five years. Wasn’t that part of the reason he was elected? Sad sad America. Perhaps soon we’ll be eating with chopsticks to show we don’t feel “superior” to the Chinese. Expect other trendy aberrations.

Well, yeah, but those aren’t cargo shorts, those are cheesy nylon gym shorts with no pockets and an elastic waistband. They’re like $5.00 at WalMart. I don’t even wear that kind of stuff at the gym.
But, he basically looks like his constituents. Have you seen the people of Pennsylvania who voted for Uncle Festerman? Yes, yes, there was a lot of ballot fraud, but there actually are people in Pennsylvania who intentionally voted for this guy.
