All 9 Supreme Court Justices Issue Rare Statement After Leftist Attacks On Conservative Justices

Alex Wong/Getty ImagesAll nine Supreme Court Justices issued a statement late last week pushing back on attempts from Senate Democrats to implement new ethics oversight measures over the nation’s highest court which comes after the political Left has tried to generate controversy surrounding three conservative justices in recent weeks.
The statement from the justices also included a letter from Chief Justice John Roberts to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Richard Durbin (D-IL) saying that he will not attend a hearing that Senate Democrats want to hold.
“Testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee by the Chief Justice of the United States is exceedingly rare, as one might expect in light of separation of powers concerns and the importance of preserving judicial independence,” Roberts said.
The statement from the nine justices said that they wrote it to “provide new clarity to the bar and to the public on how the Justices address certain recurring issues, and also seeks to dispel some common misconceptions.”

PUTIN does this sh!t in Russia all the time. Just look at what’s happening to his political opponents like Alexei Navalny.
Hopefully this incident has opened the eyes of all 9 justices. and some in the intel community that it’s their job to counter the KGB and CCP, not become like them.

11 months agoIt would appear that the Dems have forgotten there are 3 equal branches of government. The Judiciary, does not answer to the Legislative branch nor does it answer to the Executive branch.
11 months agoI think its pretty Ironic that Senators making millions in office and receiving all kinds of questionable perks and likely illegal stock tips are now using that issue to try and remove conservatives from the supreme court.

11 months agoWhen Dems can’t get their way, they come up with a brilliant idea to slander, defame, and undermine anyone and anything that doesn’t agree with their “free” speech. Since they can’t pack the Court, they will insidiously plant the seeds of dissent to get their clueless, ignorant druggies to bang pots, blow whistles and use bull horns to shout down “free” speech AND ACCUSE the Justices of doing “illegal” things. Notice that it’s just the CONSERVATIVE Justices that they are going after. They want ALL of the branches of government under their CONTROL!
11 months agoThe LEFT really does hate us. Millions of Americans believe every word of MSNBC. I just had a family member visit who is a Liberal… She went bat-wacko when I mentioned something that “offended” her. It was quite funny in a way… but when you think about it… we are really two nations. We should split ways. Their side is quite destructive and murderous (abortion, Ukraine, child trafficking). WE all actually work for a living and love this country. Let them rot on their Coastal + crap cities.
