LA Public Schools Go on Strike Abandoning 400,000 Students, Teachers Dance In The Streets

11

Covid lockdowns, mandated dangerous clot shots weren’t enough. The Democrats hate you and your families.

These teachers stayed home during the lockdowns and were paid. They refused to work.

California public schools are cesspools of indoctrination and inculcation. Keep them closed.

Townhall: Over 400,000 students are without teachers and support staff, so schools in the Los Angeles area effectively shut down for the next three days. The teachers’ unions decided to join the local service employees’ union strike in solidarity, as those workers are demanding higher. They want a 30 percent increase in their hourly rate, with an additional $2/hour raise for their lowest-paid workers. To be clear, it’s not the teachers who are demanding higher wages—it’s the bus drivers, gardeners, and cafeteria workers (Townhall). Bloomberg: The walkout adds to the woes of a district that has already been struggling with declining enrollment and attendance rates across its 780 schools. Observers blame a variety of factors including families relocating due to the high cost-of-living, a decline in immigration and parents moving their kids to private schools (Bloomberg).

Any white people who would send their children to the country’s second biggest school district are insane.

No great loss. The Children are probably better off, as they are not being indoctrinated with Racism, Transgender. Climate change and being White is bad.

The Teachers Union used to say that it was “all about the children”. It now appears that it’s really always just been all about the teachers’ bank accounts….

The teachers are vastly overpaid and underworked and comprise one of the largest privileged classes in the US. They began their indoctrination campaign years ago claiming they were underpaid, and they convinced many students and their mothers. The formation of aggressive and protected unions have given them carte blanche power to expand their scope of propaganda and indoctrination. They hate the capitalist system because they are outside of it, living off of it with tenure and the power of taxation. The reasonable and dedicated among them live in terror of the abuse but unions broke no dissent.

Teachers in grades preschool to 12 do not make a lot of money. Neither do college professors. The University is where they make quite a bit of money.

The public purpose for having an education system is the parental purpose of bringing up the next generation to be effective people. there is no public purpose served by the union of teachers. They are a third-party to the educational process, paid for services but not otherwise having any public purpose.

I (a grandpa) M a product of the 60’s public school system—It was okay—then… But this ain’t grandpa’s public schools anymore—the COMMUNISTS! took it over—& every teacher they hire, follows the party line!/is politically correct! Trash the whole thing—move 2 the voucher system—where the $ follows the students & the Moms! R in charge—& Randi Weingarten is in Gitmo!
