Kari Lake Gets Update From Supreme Court on Her Arizona Election Lawsuit

By: Katherine Fung, Newsweek, March 22, 2023:

On Wednesday, justices on the state’s high court accepted Lake’s argument that lower courts erroneously dismissed her challenge to the application of the signature verification process in the 2022 midterm election. However, the court sided against Lake in six of her seven claims in the suit.

Lake, who’s become a prominent voice in the Republican Party, maintains that voting irregularities and misconduct potentially cost her the election. Her Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, had won by more than 17,000 votes and has been in office since January……

Hope that something good happens in Kari Lake’s case, as there are many voting laws that were violated. Hopefully this will help Mark Finchem, and Abe Hamedeh lawsuits as well.

But – it’s only 1 out of 7 things Lake brought to court – the P’s os threw out the other 6

This was a skirmish win only. The real injustice was the first court effectively editing Ms Lake’s filing to determine what cheating was acceptable to adjudicate, and what was not. Consider the equality matter of a judge determining what defenses the opposition might use in his courtroom! That is not justice, that is manufacturing legal process to limit justice!

This will not materialize into resolving the issue of corruption in the election process. It will just quickly die off. They would never remove Hobbs from office, especially over one item of legitimate opposition to the election outcome. This is just further delaying the inevitable. They really enjoy giving you hope and then harvest the pleasure of ripping it away later.
