Washington Post Now Claims Climate Is “Not Warming” But It’s “WORSE For the Planet!”

In the not-so-distant past, scientists predicted that global temperatures would surge dramatically throughout this century, assuming that humans would rely heavily on fossil fuels for decades. But they are revising their forecasts as they track both signs of progress and unexpected hazards.
Accelerating solar and wind energy adoption means global warming probably will not reach the extremes once feared, climate scientists say. At the same time, recent heat, storms and ecological disasters prove, they say, that climate change impacts could be more severe than predicted even with less warming.
Researchers are increasingly worried about the degree to which even less-than-extreme increases in global temperatures will intensify heat and storms, irreversibly destabilize natural systems and overwhelm even highly developed societies. Extremes considered virtually impossible not long ago are already occurring.

Scientists pointed to recent signs of societies’ fragility: drought contributing to the Arab Spring uprisings; California narrowly avoiding widespread blackouts amid record-high temperatures; heat waves killing tens of thousands of people each year, including in Europe, the planet’s most developed continent.
It’s an indication that — even with successful efforts to reduce emissions and limit global warming — these dramatic swings could devastate many stable societies sooner, and more often, than previously expected.
“We see already that extremes are bringing about catastrophe,” said Claudia Tebaldi, an earth scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Wash. “The question is: How are we going to possibly adapt and lower the risk by turning the dial of what we can control?”

I remember it was first called the “greenhouse effect” in the late 80’s and was then changed to “global warming”.

When the predictions of coastal flooding and Florida being under water by the late 2000’s never materialized, then it was re-branded to climate change.

This way, no matter what, they can claim and blame everything on “climate change”. Freezing cold weather, warm weather, rain, drought, sleet, snow, terrorism, racism, Kaitlyn Jenner not being selected for Dancing With the Stars, etc., Blame it all on the big C.C.

The world is ending and only our globalist elite heroes can save us..!! 😱

French physicist Joseph Fourier first used the term greenhouse effect in 1824. Everyone should read the book “Dark Winter: How the Sun is Causing a 30 Year Cold Spell,” by John L. Casey.

All this left-wing frantic hysteria “chicken little” environmental “climate change” alarm is absurd.

In addition, related to this is that the futurists who helped contribute to the making of 1973 movie entitled “Soylent Green” had made movie about that life on earth would be like in the far-distant year of 2022. For from the worldview from the timeframe 1973 , the year 2022 was ,very much , seen as distant future.

The point is environmental experts of 1973 who had a hand in the making of that movie had been proven completely wrong in everything they had predicted what life for people would be like because of environmental pollution in the year of 2022.

This should tell all thinking people something.

Go ahead a watch that movie , you might find it very amusing.

One early summer day I was watching on television an educated man and likewise a scholar who had written a book about environmental degradation concerns. His message was rather alarming and disturbing. This is because he had in his book, predicted, that in not more than forty years all life, including human life, will become uninhabitable on earth because of pollution.

That was an early summer day of the year 1967. So now in this current year of 2023, over fifty years and not forty his error of prediction is easily now seen to be in great error.

So modern history is repeating itself again, this that alarmist environmental scholar of the year of 1967 is now replaced by environmental experts on the subjects of “global warming” and “climate change.”

Some of those left –wing climate change alarmists are so very irrational actually feel that engaging in vandalism will, somehow, help their agenda . Vandalism only increases environmental waste.

For example, some of them arrived at a museum to act out their vandalism ? By a car or some other type of vehicle ?

If so they are burning more fossil fuels and thus to the “climate problem.”
