McCarthy should resign. Enough.
GOP Rep: True Conservative Will be Elected Speaker Over Kevin McCarthy

Related:

The Republican majority’s effort to provide accountability falters on day one. Wall Street Journal: Rep. Kevin McCarthy again failed to cross the threshold to win the House speaker post, with 20 Republicans voting against him on the third ballot. On the first two ballots 19 Republicans voted against Mr. McCarthy, but Republican Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida joined Mr. McCarthy’s opponents in the third ballot. Mr. McCarthy could lose just four votes because all Democrats voted for Rep. Hakeem Jeffries of New York. All of Mr. McCarthy’s opponents voted for Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, who has said he doesn’t want to be speaker and supported Mr. McCarthy (Wall Street Journal). CSPAN: “A speaker has not been elected…The House stands adjourned until noon tomorrow” (Twitter). Hugh Hewitt: Jim Jordan is a genuine conservative interested in governing and eager to begin oversight hearings on the collapse of the border and the politicization of the FBI and DHS. But 20 members of a 222 member caucus are blocking the way forward. Jordan is a good man and won’t budge (Twitter).

President George Washington never wanted to be president of the United States. He became president reluctantly after putting aside his own needs and putting the Republic first.
Mr. Jordan, I understand you do not want to be speaker, but now is the time to set aside what you want and do what is best for the Republic.

No one wants the deep state, establishment, backstabbing, RINO, Mccarthy ,as the speaker of the house. Gingrich is a disgrace and has always been an establishment RINO.

Mr. McCarthy is “burned” as a speaker – that’s a good thing!
Instead of “Phoenix”, he turns out to be “Grilled Chicken”.

Briefly postponed? They’re on their 8th ballot as of 3:15 PM Thursday. No sign of an alternative to McCarthy.
