MASSIVE CORRUPTION SCANDAL: Top Ukrainian Officials Resign After Blowing Billions of US Dollars on Cars, Mansions, and Vacations

While Americans struggle to buy food, fuel, eggs, baby formula AND pay obscene taxes, Ukraine Nazis live high on the hog on your blood, sweat and tears….

The Democrats and their RINO lapdogs hate you.

Story continues below advertisement

Tyler Durden writes:

The Ukrainian government on Tuesday confirmed the resignation of multiple high ranking officials amid large-scale corruption allegations, in what’s being called the biggest mass resignation and graft scandal since the Russian invasion began.

Some dozen officials have quit their posts after a huge political shake-up over allegations and probes into cases ranging from bribery, to mismanagement of aid funds for purchasing food, to embezzlement, to driving expensive cars while common people suffer under wartime conditions.

A top presidential adviser and four deputy ministers – among these two defense officials, along with five regional governors were forced out of their posts. And among the regional governors to step down included officials overseeing regions which have seen intense fighting, including the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, where Russian forces have lately reported gains.

  • Deputy Prosecutor General Oleskiy Symonenko
  • Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Ivan Lukeryu
  • Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Vyacheslav Negoda
  • Deputy Minister for Social Policy Vitaliy Muzychenk
  • And the regional governors of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy and Kherson

And separately, “the defense ministry had earlier announced the resignation of deputy minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov, who was in charge of the army’s logistical support, on the heels of accusations it was signing food contracts at inflated prices.”

In this case regarding the food contracts, Shapovalov is accused of signing a deal with an unknown, shady firm. In his role as deputy defense minister, his is the most notable and visible resignation. Crucially he would have had no small part in overseeing the billions of dollars flowing from the pockets of US and European taxpayers as authorized defense aid.

He purchased military rations at inflated prices in what appears a scheme to line the pockets of contractors, and potentially involving kickbacks to himself.

Top Ukrainian Officials Resign After Blowing Billions of US Dollars on Cars, Mansions, and Vacations

By: Daniel, January 29, 2023:

Well, it’s exactly what a lot of us were expecting. All of those billions of dollars that we have been sending over to Ukraine are just getting p*ssed away just like it does here. Government is almost entirely corrupt and it doesn’t even matter where it is. They waste money like it’s endless and as though we don’t actually have to work for it.

Ukraine is amidst yet another corruption scandal as several of its highest-ranking officials were discovered to be indulging in lavish lifestyles, purchasing expensive sports cars, mansions and taking luxurious vacations, while the rest of the population faces ever-increasing difficulties amid the war with Russia.

This news came on the same day that it was announced that the United States and Germany had agreed to provide Ukraine with even more tanks for military use.

On Tuesday, multiple high-ranking members of Ukrainian government confirmed their resignations due to widespread allegations of graft and corruption. This has been labeled as the biggest mass resignation since Russia’s invasion began, with a total of twelve officials quitting their posts in light of accusations ranging from bribery and embezzlement, to mismanagement of aid funds dedicated to food provisions, as well as using expensive cars while other citizens continue to suffer in wartime conditions.

Notably among these resignations are a top presidential adviser, four deputy ministers, including two defense officials, as well as five regional governors; all overseeing various regions where intense fighting has recently occurred such as Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.

Particularly, attention is being drawn toward Deputy Defense Minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov who resigned following accusations that he had signed contracts for inflated prices for food provisions for soldiers. As this was his role within the ministry responsible for managing billions of dollars worth of authorized defense aid from both the US and European taxpayers’ pockets, his resignation is seen as especially significant. Additionally, Oleskiy Symonenko (Deputy Prosecutor General), Ivan Lukeryu (Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories), Vyacheslav Negoda (Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories) and Vitaliy Muzychenk (Deputy Minister for Social Policy) have also resigned their posts alongside regional governors from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy and Kherson regions.

The Ukrainians seem to be doing more to fight corruption these days that Americans under Democrat rule.

The evidence that the press accessed was $ 400K pocketed via over billing and a donated car used for personal purposes.

No evidence of billions stolen

So far Ukraine received about $9B of US money. The large figures aren’t given yet . They’re budgeted and allocated.

This sweap should be good news.
They want to demonstrate that they’re fighting corruption.
Would we prefer them not to go aftter the crooks?

The East is a complicated area where the Ukrainians are literally bribing local leaders to join the Kiev side.
And given that the Russians settled chechens, Syrians, and Somalis in the area the locals aren’t thrilled.
I’m sure the what was once a sizeable Jewish community is elated that the Nazi Azovs who never harmed them are gone and are replaced by chechens, Somalis and Syrians
Hurrah to the liberators!

No, Leon. 100 billion were spent, but Ukraine got only 9 billion. That is Biden’s mathematics, baby.

They got between $8-9B
The rest was “allocated” over time and also includes $$ for the CIA, the US MIlitary (to replenish the stocks sent to Ukraine as they moved the equipment update up by a couple of years), and the NATO allies who accepted Ukrainian refugees. It costs $$ to house and to feed 10M people. Poland took in about 1.7M, Hungary about 1.2M and Romania also took in close to 1M. These countries were already in financial trouble because of covid lockdowns and the inflation induced by the WEF cult leaders who are deliberately pushing up energy costs (which is also helping Russia BTW).
Face it, Ukraine has held back the world’s second-greatest military with 10% of what was given to the Taliban by the Biden regime!

Kari Lake and Geller Report need to get it together. The General Prosecutor’s Office (GPO) in Ukraine is prosecuting these people and they were caught. Yet, Yet what are Kari Lake and Geller Report DOING about the Clinton and Biden Crime Families and there corruption. Washington, D.C. is corrupt and nothing is being done yet Lake and Geller what to piss and moan about something being done by Ukraine to stop corruption. Maybe they should follow Ukraine’s example and arrest and prosecute the Clintons, the Biden’s, the Pelosi’s, the McConnell’s, et. al.

Whomever didn’t see that coming is either naive, stupid or blind or all of the above.
The money was sent with no accountability in place. Biden had to have known this was happening.
Biden and Zelenskiy are corrupt to the core and the fact that the American people have not removed them both and put them in prison speaks volumes.
Will they ever wake up or are they really that stupid to allow taxpayer’s money to be wasted on this massive scale. Even guns and ammunition and other armaments are being sold on the black-market. Rest assured that Biden got his share – follow the money.

As well as the Clintons, the Clinton foundation received a lot of “donations” from Russian philanthropists after the Uranium 1 deal. Also Hunter received 3 million from the wife of the former Mayor of Moscow. The U.S. deeps state (Democrats) are the biggest purveyors of corruption. Nothing unique about Ukraine. If people think we’re spending a lot to counter Russia now, just wait and see the bill in 10 years if we do nothing and let Russia expand their territory and grow their military.

Did Hunter Biden receive $3.5 million from the former mayor of Moscow’s wife?
CLAIM
Trump claimed that Biden’s son Hunter Biden got a $3.5 million payment from the wife of the former mayor of Moscow. “Why is it, just out of curiosity, the mayor of Moscow’s wife gave your son $3.5 million?” Trump said.

This needs context
EVIDENCE
Hunter Biden denies the allegation. His lawyer, George Mesires, told CNN that Hunter Biden was not an owner of the firm Senate Republicans allege received the $3.5 million payment in 2014.

“Hunter Biden had no interest in and was not a ‘co-founder’ of Rosemont Seneca Thornton, so the claim that he was paid $3.5 million is false,” Mesires said.

A partisan investigation conducted by Senate Republicans, whose report was released this month, alleged that Elena Baturina, a Russian businesswoman and the wife of late Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov, sent $3.5 million in 2014 to a firm called Rosemont Seneca Thornton, and that the payment was identified as a “consultancy agreement.” The report did not provide any further details about the transaction.

Clinton Foundation Donations and Bill Clinton Speaking Fee
Clinton’s role in the Uranium One sale, and the link to the Clinton Foundation, first became an issue in 2015, when news organizations received advance copies of the book “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich,” by Peter Schweizer, a former fellow at a conservative think tank.

On April 23, 2015, the New York Times wrote about the uranium issue, saying the paper had “built upon” Schweizer’s information.

The Times detailed how the Clinton Foundation had received millions in donations from investors in Uranium One.

The donations from those with ties to Uranium One weren’t publicly disclosed by the Clinton Foundation, even though Hillary Clinton had an agreement with the White House that the foundation would disclose all contributors. Days after the Times story, the foundation acknowledged that it “made mistakes,” saying it had disclosed donations from a Canadian charity, for instance, but not the donors to that charity who were associated with the uranium company.

The Times also wrote that Bill Clinton spoke at a conference in Moscow on June 29, 2010 — which was after the Rosatom-Uranium One merger was announced in June 2010, but before it was approved by the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States in October 2010. The Russian-based Renaissance Capital Group organized the conference and paid Clinton $500,000.

Renaissance Capital has “ties to the Kremlin” and its analysts “talked up Uranium One’s stock, assigning it a ‘buy’ rating and saying in a July 2010 research report that it was ‘the best play’ in the uranium markets,” the Times wrote.

But there is no evidence that the donations or the speaking fee had any influence on the approvals granted by the NRC or the Committee on Foreign Investments.

Hello Americans, thank you for sending so much money to me. But now I must resign and move my family to a nicer place. With the war and such our roads are very bad for me to drive that new Masarati. and all my electronic equipment fails annoyingly when the power goes down. and it is very noisy here with all your tanks and rockets firing. So we will be moving, perhaps to California or Germany where I can run my beautiful new cars. I can buy quite a nice mansion for a few million dollars which is just pocket change even after I donated my percentage back to your presidents foundations and charities.
