Can the new House GOP majority do anything? Even something as simple as booting Rep. Ilhan Omar off the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she belongs as much as I belong on Al Qaeda’s councils, can’t proceed because some House Republicans are protecting her.

Why would protect Miss “Some People Did Something?”

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) on Friday joined a group of House Republicans opposed to kicking Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) off the Foreign Affairs Committee, putting the high-profile effort dangerously close to failing.

Buck, a member of the right-wing Freedom Caucus, told NBC News’ Chuck Todd he is against Republicans removing Democrats like Omar from their committees.

Buck is the third House Republican to say they oppose removing Omar, along with Reps. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.).

“I think that we should not engage in this tit-for-tat,” Buck said.

Not engaging in tit-for-tat, better known as not fighting back, has worked brilliantly for Republicans thus far.

So what’s the plan to dissuade Democrats from doing this when they’re next in the majority? Scold them by emphasizing that Republicans will not lower themselves to engaging in any tit-for-tat. Do anything you like to us, but we will not respond with tit-for-tat.

After saying he’s opposed to Omar’s removal, Buck added: “I have a little bit less certainty about Congressman Schiff and Swalwell on Intelligence just because it’s a little bit different than a regular committee. But I’m going to think through that and make a decision.”

Deep thoughts are needed.

Rep. David Joyce (R-Ohio), the chair of the moderate Republican Governance Group, told Axios on Tuesday that Omar “should at least be given the opportunity to defend her prior statements” on the House floor.

“I haven’t taken a position on it because I haven’t seen a case against her, but I think she’s entitled to due process and she should be able to make her case on why she shouldn’t be [removed].”

“I don’t think tit for tat is necessary here,” said Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.). “We should be better than what the Democrats were.”

Dis someone send out a tit-for-tat memo?

The emerging consensus is that Republicans were elected to be “better” than Democrats by surrendering to them. It’s worked brilliantly for generations. Bound to work again now.

I can’t fault a 12 year old for what her father did, but when she applied for citizenship, did she use her real name or did she use Omar? Not using her real name, along with other illegalities she has performed, should get her deported to wherever she wishes to go.

I would love to see these western hater traitors deported as most of them binged on stupid diversity law’s taking job’s away from professionals, only to openly declare war on our way of life and I think that the laws of treason need reinstating and enforcing as like in Uk , they get away with anti social hostility towards us , are not a bit grateful and their kids act like adult attack squads like kicking the doors of people at 2am ( the Asian Pakistani community dealt with them), they’re noisy rude , look at you like they want to kill you , are dirty rubbish mongers who think having a loud noisy crowd shouting in the middle of the night is normal. There is no reason why they should be allowed in and police don’t care unless it’s in their neighbourhood. Dispatch them back who are mainly muslim takeover wannabes as they’ll never work unless educated already. They’re known for their ignorance and violence, a real threat to those of us already suffering from muslim control of towns and cities so these lot have no reason for getting benefits we have to fight for without even trying , our governments never scapegoat the real abusers who never paid into the system like those of us who worked got injured then had to fight for every penny, this needs to be changed as they along with other muslims illegally in our countries have made our lives a living hell with their criminality so we end up living like we’re in a prison. We need these dangerous people removed for good as only a tiny minority become proper citizens willing to work to achieve anything. It’s made it virtually impossible to afford to move to migrant free areas and even less chance of getting a place to live because we get pushed off queues, proving now it’s white folks kids falling behind in education, living in poverty, we are being marginalised and racially abused by immigrants who laugh at us, mock our homeless as they’re never homeless because everything is paid for , they don’t have 20% to pay for rent out of the benefits and another 20% deducted for council tax out of the money they get but funny how if you’re a genuine person fleeing war and Christian they don’t get help which is why the laws on treason should be brought back so if they commit a crime they are immediately deported as they know the risks but sadly are well informed that laws are not enforced. The Republicans with “principles” are becoming very annoying.
I am surprised it isn’t the antisemitic Massey (who now defends Big Tech from any Congressional action) who is leading the Omar lobby.

I do get what they mean by saying that it should be the Democrats who should sanction Omar for her antisemitism and anti-Americanism and it should be they who take her off of committees.
But that won’t happen. Pelosi and the party stood by her after the antisemitic and pro-terrorist statements and this even more radical Democrat leader will even more likely protect Omar.

Now imagine how easy it must have been for Trump to enact the Terrorist Country ban, erect the wall, fight Big-Tech, and protect Jewish students from the violent wing of the BDS movement which is the only “Free-speech” issue the Democrats can get behind when the GOP is filled with these quislings.
There are no more “moderate Democrats” only Republicans who took their place and act as if they had to be the “reasonable” Democrats.

Interesting but entirely clueless as a defense against the Mafia Party.
