Elite University Department Bans Use Of Word ‘Field,’ Claiming It’s Too Racist

The University of Southern California (USC) Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will no longer use the world “field” in its curriculum or its practices as part of its anti-racist framework, according to an email reportedly sent Monday.
The school reportedly stripped the word from use due to alleged ties to “anti-Black” and “anti-immigrant” rhetoric, according to the email sent by the Practicum Education Department to the campus community, faculty, staff and students. The school informed that the word “practicum” would be used instead to “ensure [its] use of inclusive language and practice.”
“This change supports anti-racist social work practice by replacing language that could be considered anti-Black or anti-immigrant in favor of inclusive language,” the email reportedly reads. “Language can be powerful, and phrases such as ‘going into the field’ or ‘field work’ may have connotations for descendants of slavery and immigrant workers that are not benign.”

The Woke communists will introduce so many rules and regulations over everything that it will eventually be impossible to keep track of them. Anyone can run afoul at any time over anything.
This gives the regime total power over the individual.
It is pure Kafka.
You can live your life but at any time the system can shut you down, out, or punish you, cancel you, fire you, etc… Because it will become humanly impossible to adhere to all the rules.
This is not “insane” (though it sure sounds that way) but very deliberate and purposeful for the regime to have absolute power over you.

You kidding me? Can’t keep track of it now, and really not even trying, I refuse to buy into their BS. Was talking to a friend of mine the other day, riding in his van, and he was telling me that when they finally get around to implementing those social credit scores, he was going to be totally screwed, as he was not about to be bullied into their group think societal standards, and was going to continue to be his normal (by their standards) anti social self.
That, of course, will totally screw him. Will screw me as well, as I was in full agreement with him. They can keep their woke, and their word changes, as I for one, and most of the people I know, are ignoring that garbage and truckin’ right along without budging one inch….

If a Negro in the USA refers to themselves as being an African American are they actually being racist towards themselves by calling themselves American even as they walk across the field to get to the other side?.

It appears that the term “Social Work” has taken on racist overtones; and the name of this department should be banned from all student available documents – which specifically includes any diploma or other school-supplied records.

We’ve gone nuts! First of all, I’m white. Does this mean I can’t tell my grandchildren how I was forced to go out and work in that cotton field? And I might add, it was during a global warming period.

It s unbelievanle that so called univeristies, centres of learning are banning words in my beautiful language. Yes I am used to Americams messing with English, they have been doing it since 1776! But banning words, that is completely unnacceptable.
