Mayor Adams Declares His Sanctuary City in ‘State of Emergency’ Because of Illegals

2

The endlessly partying NYC Mayor Eric Adams is whining that the city’s “functional and compassionate system” is being “exploited by others for political gain.” and insisted, “We have not asked for this.”

Not true. New York City has been a “sanctuary city” since 2014. The city is so pro-migrant that last year the Democrat-controlled city council gave non-citizens the right to vote in local elections. When a judge barred the city from allowing non-citizens to vote, it appealed.

New York City has laid out the welcome mat for illegal immigrants and non-citizens — except for when they inevitably started coming in large numbers (more here).

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has declared a state of emergency in the city due to the influx of illegal immigrants being bused there by border state governors. He is really angry about it, too. After all, when NYC declared itself a sanctuary city they assumed that virtue signaling would have no cost (HotAir). Daily Caller: Eric Adams on NYC’s migrant crisis: “We have not asked for this. There was never any agreement to take on the job of supporting thousands of asylum seekers” (Twitter). New York Post: Two planes each carrying about 24 unaccompanied minors arrived at Orange County Airport in Montgomery around 6 p.m. Friday, County Executive Steve Neuhaus said. Upon landing, the kids were put on shuttle buses and sent to locations in New York City, Kingston and Poughkeepsie, according to Neuhaus. Both the buses and flights were chartered by the feds (New York Post).

Maybe he should of been more clarifying or detailed, in his prior statement. When he wanted immigrants, maybe he should of been more forthcoming, like putting a certain number on it…ya think? Lol…at least we get to chuckle at his baby crying tantrum now…I don’t feel for him at all.

Very rarely do libs have to suffer the consequences of their actions. This is poetic justice, or karma.
