Steve Bannon Found “Guilty” Of Contempt of Congress, While Murderers, Rapists Illegal Immigrant Criminals Run Wild In Democrat-Run America

The Democrats have destroyed our criminal justice system. Bannon did nothing wrong. Murderers, rapists, illegal immigrants with criminal records are given airfare and taxpayer funds to to wreak havoc in our cities and towns.

As for “contempt of Congress”,  every rational and patriotic American should feel nothing but contempt for Congress.

The Democrats have ignored a subpoenas as a matter of practice. Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder ignored a subpoena for documents relating to the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal. A federal judge declined a House committee’s bid to have Attorney General Eric Holder held in contempt of court. So there you have it.

Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was killed in December 2010 by a firearm believed to be part of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Operation Fast and Furious program.

Fast and furious was real, January 6 is a soviet style show trial.

So, Steve Bannon’s been found guilty.
Once again, we see where the DC swamp protects its own & takes down conservatives.
This is why I have NO patience with people who say “we can’t descend to their level. We’re better than that”.

Steve Bannon found guilty of contempt of Congress for ignoring January 6 hearing subpoena

Steve Bannon faced two misdemeanor charges that could mean 30 days to a year in prison each

Former Trump White House official Steve Bannon was found guilty of contempt of Congress after he ignored a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee.

Bannon faces 30 days to a year in prison for each of the two misdemeanor charges. The jury was ordered to begin deliberating Friday morning.

U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols discharged the jury after hearing closing arguments from both the prosecution and defense.

The Department of Justice charged Bannon with two counts of contempt of Congress after he ignored a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee. Bannon pleaded not guilty.

Bannon claimed executive privilege precluded him from appearing before the committee to talk about the Jan. 6, 2020, attack on the U.S. Capitol, though prosecutors noted that he left the White House in 2017.

The Justice Department began closing arguments Friday morning with prosecutor Molly Gaston telling jurors, “This is a man who didn’t show up.”

“He didn’t want to recognize Congress’ authority or play by the government’s rules,” Gaston said. “Our government only works if people show up and play by the rules and are held accountable when they do not.”

“When he chose to defy a congressional subpoena, that was a crime,” Gaston continued. “The defendant chose allegiance to Donald Trump over compliance with the law.”
