The NYPD has identified a person of interest connected the mass shooting at the 36th Street subway station in Sunset Park that left at least 23 people injured, including 10 shot, during rush hour on Tuesday morning, authorities said, amid a manhunt for the suspect who authorities said put on a gas mask, set off smoke bombs and then opened fire at passengers on a train and platform.
Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell said 10 people were shot and additional 13 people were injured.
Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, told WCBS Radio 880 AM that there appeared to be some sort of malfunction with the camera system at the subway station in Tuesday’s shooting.
Adams said investigators are trying to determine whether one camera malfunctioned or whether cameras throughout the entire station malfunctioned.
Think about that, We are not talking about advanced technology. Everyone has access to video systems – Ring, eero. Logitech etc But not New Yorkers, who pay the highest taxes in the nation and pay a special NYC Tax. The MTA received 10 billion in COVID relief but we can’t expect basic services. Billions for Ukraine, free phones, medical and tuition for illegals ….. and we’re in hell.
NYPD says the video surveillance did not work in the subway because of “user error,” when police didn’t change frequencies to switch it on this morning.
HUH??

Shooter was known to FBI
Shooter escapes and no one can find him
MTA cameras down on subway platform, and apparently the thousands of cameras deployed in and around NYC couldn't track his movements like they do everyone else's.
But nothing to see here.
