According to Pakistani media reports, three female students of a religious madrassa in the Pakistani town of Dera Ismail Khan beheaded their female teacher because a 13-year-old female relative of theirs had dreamt that Muhammad, founder of Islam, had told the relative that the teacher had committed blasphemy and ordered that she be beheaded.

Islamabad: A madrasa teacher was killed on Tuesday (March 29, 2022) at Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The reason was that a 13-year-old girl dreamed that the teacher had blasphemed. In the dream, she also got the order to kill the teacher. The minor, along with three other women, went and killed the teacher. Police said the four stabbed the teacher with a sharp weapon and killed her by slitting her neck near the madrasa door. The murder took place in the Anjumabad area.

The three women accused of the murder also taught at the Jamia Islamia Falahul Binat Madarsa. At the same time, the deceased was also a teacher in this madrasa. The murder also involved a 13-year-old girl who had “dreamt of committing blasphemy” by the teacher. A statement issued by the DPO office said that during interrogation, the accused of blasphemy and said that she was a follower of Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, whom the deceased teacher disliked.
