The story about the hijab pulled off by a teacher is falling apart.

So it is necessary to move this case to the court of public opinion.

A Muslim family is accusing Tamar Herman of gratuitously and forcefully pulling off the hijab of a 2^nd grade student.

Mrs. Herman explained that the child was wearing a hoodie in place of a hijab. But that she didn’t realize that until she pushed the hood back to uncover the student’s eyes.  That is when the incident stopped and the learning resumed.

Now the girl’s lawyer is getting on TV with a 2017 letter from the teacher’s file insinuating Herman is a racist.

But the lawyer is giving her both barrels when also says he has “confirmed” the truth that Herman gratuitously removed a hijab.

It is impossible for the public to evaluate this four-year-old letter. And the supposed confirmation is almost certainly that he talked to the kids. One has to be very careful with the testimony of children, as shown in this case involving the accusations of a child.

They want this teacher fired. They are not trying to find out what happened. They are not seeking a peaceful resolution. They want to try this in the court of public opinion, and that has been true from the start.

They want the teacher punished even if she gets rape threats, and even if the school gets threats.

Even if what they claim never happened.

And it should be pointed out that the only people doing these hijab crisis stories is CAIR.

The teacher’s attorney says this isn’t true.
