Biden Forces Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate On 100 Million Americans *Exempts Powerful Federal Union

Totalitarian America. The very foundation of our Constitution is based on individual rights. This is an act of treason and insurrection.

They must be stopped. This is an all out assault on freedom.

It’s war.

Republican members of Congress and state governors were appalled by news Thursday that President Joe Biden will force employers with more than 100 workers to require coronavirus vaccinations or test employees weekly, vowing to block the new policy and terming it unconstitutional.

The mandate, which is expected to affect as many as 100 million Americans in an array of jobs, including health care, directly impacts the private sector.

“This is absolutely unconstitutional,” Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky, wrote in a tweet, attaching a link to the news.placeholder

“Mandates are not the answer,” Rep. Neal Dunn, R-Fla., said in response. “Getting the vaccine should be up to you and your doctor — not the federal government.”

But the Biden administration has exempted the U.S. Postal Service, which employs nearly 650,000 people, from its executive order requiring all federal employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

“U.S. Postal Service workers were not included in Biden’s executive order requiring all federal employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to a White House official speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss not-yet-public portions of the president’s plan,” The Washington Post reported. “U.S. Postal Service workers would be strongly encouraged to comply with the mandate, the official said.”

USPS is exempt from Biden’s vaccine mandate but UPS, FedEx, and DHL, are not.

The report noted that the move by Biden to exempt the Postal Service from its highly controversial vaccine mandate comes after “one of the Postal Service’s powerful unions, the American Postal Workers Union, in July criticized the administration’s efforts to require federal workers to be vaccinated and demanded that postal leadership collectively bargain on the issue.”

The American Postal Workers Union, which endorsed Biden for president in June 2020, slammed the administration over the summer, saying in a statement that “it is not the role of the federal government to mandate vaccinations for the employees we represent.”

Sweeping new vaccine mandates for 100 million Americans

WASHINGTON (AP) — In his most forceful pandemic actions and words, President Joe Biden on Thursday ordered sweeping new federal vaccine requirements for as many as 100 million Americans — private-sector employees as well as health care workers and federal contractors — in an all-out effort to curb the surging COVID-19 delta variant.

Speaking at the White House, Biden sharply criticized the tens of millions of Americans who are not yet vaccinated, despite months of availability and incentives.

“We’ve been patient. But our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us,” he said, all but biting off his words. The unvaccinated minority “can cause a lot of damage, and they are.”

Republican leaders — and some union chiefs, too — said Biden was going too far in trying to muscle private companies and workers, a certain sign of legal challenges to come.

Gov. Henry McMaster of South Carolina said in a statement that “Biden and the radical Democrats (have) thumbed their noses at the Constitution,” while American Federation of Government Employees National President Everett Kelley insisted that “changes like this should be negotiated with our bargaining units where appropriate.”

On the other hand, there were strong words of praise for Biden’s efforts to get the nation vaccinated from the American Medical Association, the
