Afghan Muslims As Old As 60 Bringing Child Brides As Young as 12 to US: Evacuated Little Girls Tell Border Officials They’ve Been Raped Forced Into Marriage To Escape Taliban, Damning Report States

Biden is bringing them here to break your daughters in according to Islamic texts and teachings. Muhammad’s favorite wife was only six when he married her.

What Does Islam Teach About Child Marriage?

Islamic scholar Robert Spencer explains:

Child marriage has abundant attestation in Islamic tradition and law. Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry. Ishaq Akintola, a professor of Islamic Eschatology and Director of Muslim Rights Concern in Nigeria, stated: “Islam has no age barrier in marriage and Muslims have no apology for those who refuse to accept this.” Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-‘Ubeidi, an Iraqi expert on Islamic law, agreed: “There is no minimum marriage age for either men or women in Islamic law. The law in many countries permits girls to marry only from the age of 18. This is arbitrary legislation, not Islamic law.” Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, a prominent cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, said that there is no minimum age for marriage and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.” Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology ruled: “Islam does not forbid marriage of young children.”

d law.

Numerous Islamic authorities worldwide attest to this. Turkey’s directorate of religious affairs (Diyanet) said in January 2018 that under Islamic law, girls as young as nine can marry.

Ishaq Akintola, professor of Islamic Eschatology and Director of Muslim Rights Concern, Nigeria, has said: “Islam has no age barrier in marriage and Muslims have no apology for those who refuse to accept this.” An Iraqi expert on Islamic law, Dr. Abd Al-Hamid Al-‘Ubeidi, agrees, saying: “There is no minimum marriage age for either men or women in Islamic law. The law in many countries permits girls to marry only from the age of 18. This is arbitrary legislation, not Islamic law.”

So does Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, a prominent Muslim cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council: “There is no minimum age for marriage and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.”

Pakistan’s Council of Islamic Ideology has declared flatly: “Islam does not forbid marriage of young children.”

These authorities say these things because hadiths that Muslims consider authentic record that Muhammad’s favorite wife, Aisha, was six when Muhammad wedded her and nine when he consummated the marriage:

“The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)” (Bukhari 7.62.88).

Another tradition has Aisha herself recount the scene:

The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became all right, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, “Best wishes and Allah’s Blessing and a good luck.” Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age. (Bukhari 5.58.234).

Muhammad was at this time fifty-four years old.

Marrying young girls was not all that unusual for its time, but because in Islam Muhammad is the supreme example of conduct (cf. Qur’an 33:21), he is considered exemplary in this unto today. And so in April 2011, the Bangladesh Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini declared that those trying to pass a law banning child marriage in that country were putting Muhammad in a bad light: “Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, [putting] the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge.” He added a threat: “Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.” The Mufti said that 200,000 jihadists were ready to sacrifice their lives for any law restricting child marriage.

Likewise the influential website Islamonline.com in December 2010 justified child marriage by invoking not only Muhammad’s example, but the Qur’an as well:

The Noble Qur’an has also mentioned the waiting period [i.e. for a divorced wife to remarry] for the wife who has not yet menstruated, saying: “And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women, if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated” [Qur’an 65:4]. Since this is not negated later, we can take from this verse that it is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a prepubescent girl. The Qur’an is not like the books of jurisprudence which mention what the implications of things are, even if they are prohibited. It is true that the prophet entered into a marriage contract with A’isha when she was six years old, however he did not have sex with her until she was nine years old, according to al-Bukhari.

Other countries make Muhammad’s example the basis of their laws regarding the legal marriageable age for girls. Article 1041 of the Civil Code of the Islamic Republic of Iran states that girls can be engaged before the age of nine, and married at nine: “Marriage before puberty (nine full lunar years for girls) is prohibited. Marriage contracted before reaching puberty with the permission of the guardian is valid provided that the interests of the ward are duly observed.”

According to Amir Taheri in The Spirit of Allah: Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution (pp. 90-91), Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini himself married a ten-year-old girl when he was twenty-eight. Khomeini called marriage to a prepubescent girl “a divine blessing,” and advised the faithful to give their own daughters away accordingly: “Do your best to ensure that your daughters do not see their first blood in your house.” When he took power in Iran, he lowered the legal marriageable age of girls to nine, in accord with Muhammad’s example.

Yet despite all this, worldwide organizations dedicated to ending child marriage universally fail to acknowledge its justifications in Islam. The UN High Commissioner of Human Rights never mentions Islam in connection with child marriage. UNICEF doesn’t, either. Nor does the international network Girls Not Brides or the International Women’s Health Coalition. The latter does say: “Child marriage occurs in every region of the world, and is practiced across cultures, religions, and ethnicities,” and while that is true, no religion or culture offers as much justification for child marriage as Islam does.

Until that is acknowledged, the root causes of this problem will never be addressed. And more girls will suffer.

US Customs and Border Protection officials are looking into reports of alleged forced marriages between much older men and young girls whose families were desperate to have them escape the Taliban, according to a new report revealed Thursday.

Those young girls told officials at a transit site in Abu Dhabi that they ‘have been raped by older men they were forced to marry in order to escape Afghanistan,’ the damning report obtained by Yahoo News and dated September 5 states.

‘US officials are looking into reports that in the frantic evacuation of desperate Afghans from Kabul, older men were admitted together with young girls they claimed as “brides” or otherwise sexually abused,’ the leaked paper states.

It also notes reports of ‘purported child brides’ being brought to Fort McCoy in Wisconsin, where Afghan refugees are meant to end up after a thorough vetting process overseas.

‘The reality is, overseas the vetting process sucks,’ an official familiar with the troubling reports told Yahoo News. ‘There’s minimal vetting.’

‘So now we have a 60-year-old guy with a 12-year-old girl saying, “That’s my wife.”‘

The US military wrapped its withdrawal from Afghanistan by President Biden’s deadline with 124,000 rescued, mostly vulnerable Afghans.

But the government is on to the next challenge of processing and vetting those people for entry into the US. Reports of inhumane condition and overcrowding surfaced in some areas.

Federal officials blamed those on bottlenecks, partially because of delays in making sure everybody was thoroughly checked.

Press Secretary Jen Psaki said at her daily White House briefing on September 1, ‘I can absolutely assure you that no one is coming into the United States of America who has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.’

But the scathing report surfaced today casts doubt on the process.

The official familiar with the report admitted it was ‘not a small number’ nor are they regarded as ‘legitimate marriages’ in the eyes of the United States.

‘Is there nefarious intent? Are these girls being rescued, or are they brought here for more nefarious purposes? We are just not sure,’ the official said.

The legal age to marry was 16 under Afghanistan’s previous government, but as the report notes, ‘child marriage is not uncommon’ in the country.

These marriages are indicative of the sheer level of desperation these families are willing to consider ‘helping loved ones escape the Taliban,’ the report states.

CBP looking into reports of child brides in Abu Dhabi and Wisconsin is just the latest blow to Biden’s handling of the crisis.

It was revealed Wednesday that the administration is allowing Afghan children to stay with the adult they arrived with in the United States – to avoid unaccompanied minors going into custody.

CNN reported Wednesday that the Department of Health and Human Services put out guidance over the weekend that laid out ways to avoid Afghan children being separated from caregivers.

The report comes after the Associated Press reported last week that a number of Afghan men entered the U.S. with child ‘brides,’ with officials seeking guidance on how to handle this dynamic.

‘Intake staff at Fort McCoy reported multiple cases of minor females who presented as “married” to adult Afghan men, as well as polygamous families,’ a document obtained by the AP warned. ‘Department of State has requested urgent guidance.’

The AP reported that there was no immediate indication from the military, the Department of Homeland Security or HHS that such guidance was received.

Typically, minors who don’t arrive with their parents – even if they come to the U.S. with an aunt, uncle or sibling – are put into HHS custody until a ‘sponsor’ is deemed worthy.

In the case of Afghan refugees, the Office of Refugee Resettlement – which is part of HHS – is allowing the children to stay with the adults they arrived with, even if they’re not the kids’ parents, CNN said.

HHS did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiry on how they’re handling the issue of the child ‘brides.’

Last week, State Department spokesperson Ned Price said ‘very few Afghan children’ are arriving with adults who they don’t know.

More than 100 have arrived in the U.S. unaccompanied, an administration official told CNN, though a majority have been quickly reunited with family members.

‘Unaccompanied minors represent only one quarter of one per cent of the share of Afghan arrivals,’ an HHS spokesperson told CNN. ‘We will continue to work with our government partners to provide care for all the children referred to us.’

Antony Blinken met with Afghan refugees at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Wednesday as the administration continues to deal with the bungled troop withdrawal that is now leading to the displacement of thousands of Afghans.

The Secretary of State showed a picture of his children to a young Afghan refugee outside Hangar 5 for evacuation operations at Ramstein Air Base.

The State Department is facing criticism after it was revealed in an email link that the agency prevented several private flights from leaving Afghanistan with U.S. citizens and Afghan allies on board.

The trip to Germany came after Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with leaders in Doha, Qatar, which is acting as another third-party country for Afghan refugee processing before they are resettled in the U.S.

Blinken was also pictured there touring a base in Doha being used as a processing center with hundreds of cots lining the floor of a building.

Also on Wednesday, Blinken met with German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas as the two counterparts discussed cooperation in efforts to process and resettle Afghan refugees. The two will hold a virtual 20-nation meeting on the crisis from the southwestern German U.S. Air Base.

The images out of Ramstein on Wednesday show a number of refugees sitting on the floor as they wait to be processed. Many are unaware of their final resettlement destinations, but are expected to come through the Philadelphia and Washington Dulles airports.

Blinken said on Tuesday that Afghan refugees will be vetted on the ‘back end,’ as he claims the withdrawal was too swift and chaotic to vet all Afghan refugees before they were airlifted out.

The administration still insists there are around 100 Americans left to be evacuated, while volunteer groups leading private evacuation efforts and Republicans claim there are more like 500 U.S. citizens still trying to get out.

Six planes chartered to evacuate Americans and allies from Afghanistan were blocked from leaving by the Taliban, it emerged over the weekend.
