Rockets Fired at Israel After Hamas Threat

Think about were the Middle East was when President Trump left office. Iran proxy’s Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah will continue to provoke Israel into war, since they know that the Biden Administration will limit Israel’s ability to respond. Horrible.

Two Rockets Fired at Israel After Hamas Threat

Iron Dome intercepted one of the rockets ■ Islamic Jihad vowed to avenge deaths of the four Palestinians killed in West Bank overnight ■ Gaza factions meet over delayed Qatari cash handout

By Haaretz, August 16, 2021
The Iron Dome missile defense system has intercepted a rocket launch from Gaza, the IDF has confirmed. The rocket was the first launched since Israel’s 11-day-long conflict with Hamas in May this year.
Moments before the launch, rocket sirens sounded in Sderot and other communities on the Israel-Gaza border; no injuries have been reported so far.

Earlier Monday, the Islamic Jihad vowed to avenge the deaths of four Palestinians who were killed in the early hours of Monday by special undercover Israeli forces in an arrest operation in the West Bank.
“The blood of the dead will not be shed in vain, and Israeli terrorism will not scare the Palestinians,” the Islamic Jihad said in a statement.
The four people were killed after the Israeli forces entered the refugee camp in Jenin to arrest a Hamas suspect, leading to armed Palestinians opening fire at them. Three other Palestinians were injured.

On Sunday, Hamas said it will not hesitate to escalate the security situation with Israel if Qatari cash and construction supplies are not transferred to the Strip within a few days, the militant group’s spokesperson Hazem Qassem told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar.

Representatives of the Palestinian factions in Gaza are expected to meet Monday to discuss possible responses to the delay in the transfer of the Qatari money and construction materials for reconstructing the Strip after May’s hostilities with Israel.
