Pussy-Hat Psaki Denies Americans Are Stranded in Afghanistan

Yes, she denied all 45,000 of them.

Totalitarian monsters devoid of truth.

We have been overthrown by the enemy.

At a press conference, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy “I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They’re not” (Twitter). From Jonah Goldberg: Why? He didn’t say “abandoned.” And if you’re an American in hiding outside the Kabul airport, I suspect that “stranded” feels pretty tame. Heck, I feel stranded every time I have a canceled connecting flight — which means about 40% of the time I fly United through Chicago (Twitter). From Mark Hemingway: Not defending the Trump admin’s honesty, but so much of what was said there just was inconsequential absurdity. The gaslighting of “I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded” is so much worse on a lot of levels than “This was the largest inauguration ever period” (Twitter). From Nikki Haley: From our southern border to Afghanistan, it seems the Biden administration’s strategy for solving crises is to pretend they don’t exist. Open your eyes. There are multiple reports of Americans getting turned away, harassed, and beaten by the Taliban (Twitter). Some stories of those stranded trying desperately to get into the airport (NY Post). Meanwhile, another story notes “Taliban fighters are reportedly flogging Afghan civilians in the streets for wearing ‘westernised’ clothing such as jeans as they cement their power in Afghanistan. Several young Afghans posted on social media they had been beaten and whipped by members of the Taliban for wearing jeans after being accused of disrespecting Islam (Daily Mail). A team organizing private flights out of Afghanistan says while other nations have been “awesome and heroic” the Biden administration is slowing them down (Daily Caller).
