Terror-Tied CAIR Demands “Islamophobia Envoy”

CAIR’s 2021 Mid-Year Report tries to make the case for the creation for an Islamophobia envoy.

Notably, as can be seen here @11:14, Ilhan Omar wants the envoy to have “the force of law.”

So the decision to create a sort of Islamophobia police agency is an important one.

Let us look at CAIR’s evidence of a rise of Islamophobia that warrants the creation of a special envoy.

Mosques

The picture at the bottom of page 4 of CAIR’s report is from the vandalism of the Moorhead mosque story. Police have arrested the vandal, who said he did it to gain attention. The mosque has decided to forgive the man, and CAIR is on TV carrying their message.

CAIR refers to the incident again on page 6.

The last four mosque incidents in the CAIR report are from May, when there was a “hate Israel” campaign afoot, with CAIR accusing Israel of genocide, as well as people being beaten and threatened with rape because they were Jewish.

School Bullying

A teacher at LaGuardia High School in New York allegedly called a  student a “terrorist.”

In this case, you can look at this young lady here and see that she is doing fine. But it is worth noting that CAIR has also objected to a dance routine at LaGuardia High. Maybe LaGuardia High School and Muslims don’t mix. Is this the kind of thing that the envoy would become involved in?

A Muslim high school student in Lansdale, Pennsylvania had her hijab ripped off by two other female students.

Saana Beaufort has been feuding with some girls for weeks. Consequently, when they finally fell out brawling in the cafeteria, Saana gave as good as she got and had to be restrained, and forced from the room. Because all three girls were fighting, the DA is treating all of them equally. Of course, CAIR is trying to make sure the Muslim wins. Will the envoy help CAIR create special laws for Muslims?

A parent reportedly booed and told 17-year-old Muslim student who wears hijab and is of Pakistani descent to “go back to Pakistan” while she gave a graduation speech at the Wheatley School in Old Westbury, New York.

Except there is no evidence for what she claims. In fact, people who also attended the ceremony say she is lying. It looks like we have another example of CAIR disrupting community cohesion.

Hate Crimes

A woman hit a Middle Eastern man in his 50s with a laptop and berated him in Palo Alto, California.

Again, it is safe to assume this is not the sign of a rising trend, even in the seething hotbed of contentment, Palo Alto, California.

A Maryland man spat on his Muslim neighbor on April 18.

CAIR provides no more information. This does not warrant the creation of an envoy. Why is it in CAIR’s report?

A 21-year-old Asian-American Muslim woman on Long Island suffered an acid attack.

This is a terrible story, but the police have arrested no one. It is way too early to be calling this a hate crime. For all we know, a Muslim may have thrown the acid.

The suspect had yelled “‘F*** all of Palestine” and “We don’t support Palestine,” before he began spraying.

Lt. Rob Beckwith of the Fresno police says the incident does not appear to be a hate crime, meaning [that Turner] was not motivated by the alleged victims’ nationality. What we do know is that the subjects in the victim’s vehicle actually initiated the contact with the suspect,” Beckwith said.

“One of the subjects in the vehicle exited the victim’s vehicle and began approaching the suspect’s vehicle in somewhat of an aggressive manner as that was occurring. The suspect, Mr. Turner, produced pepper spray and discharged the pepper spray at that subject,” Beckwith said.

When the alleged victims retreated back to their vehicles, Turner sprayed them again. While the first spaying could be self-defense, the second time would not be, Beckwith said.

Hate Speech

Frontpage Magazine posted a threat targeting CAIR-Florida Communications Director Wilfredo Ruiz. The reported death threat to Ruiz read, “Self-hating puerto rican [sic]. An infidel, he should be beheaded.”

After Joe Kaufman wrote an article documenting Wilfredo Ruiz’s anti-Semitic statements, Ruiz used a random internet comment to distract from the contents of the article.

In conclusion, and based on CAIR’s evidence, unless the proposed envoy is going to address CAIR’s excesses, then the creation of such an agency will only hurt the country and it citizens. But of course, hurting people is what CAIR is all about.
