‘I’ll slit your throat’: Man receives horrific anti-Semitic abuse on London Underground and bus within an hour

A Jewish man faced a barrage of horrific anti-Semitic abuse on both a Tube then a bus within an hour.

The victim was visiting family in London when he was abused on a London bus at around 11.40pm near Oxford Circus on Saturday (July 3).

“They don’t know each other and never spoke prior”, the victim’s brother told My London.

“He doesn’t spend a lot of time in London but it has happened before to him and my sister.

“I experienced all sorts of behaviour like this when I was younger.”

A Tweet showing videos of the horrific incidents added: “How proud I am to be English tonight where someone visibly Jewish can not use public transport without hearing “I f*cking hate the Jews”.

The Met Police has now launched an investigation into the torrent of anti-Semitic abuse.

A man was heard threatening to “slit his [the victim’s] throat for Palestine” before the driver of the 113 bus called the police and asked him to leave the bus.

The man continued to threaten the victim and slammed the glass door of the bus while swearing at him as the vehicle drove off.

A group of men where then filmed going down an escalator at Oxford Circus Tube station before turning around and appearing to abuse people behind them.
