Biden’s Terrorism Strategy Ignores Jihad, Focuses on Censoring Conservatives and Critical Race Theory

Biden has done everything but take out an ad in the New York Times to announce that he’ll be even worse on terrorism than Obama.

That’s not a shocker considering his history and his response to 9/11

Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we’re not bent on its destruction. “Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran,” Biden declares.

These days it’s billions.

Meanwhile, Biden’s new counterterrorism strategy ignores Islamic terrorism altogether.

It found that the two most lethal elements of today’s domestic terrorism threat are (1) racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists who advocate for the superiority of the white race and (2) anti-government or anti-authority violent extremists, such as militia violent extremists.

Does Biden still remember 9/11? How about the multiple Islamic terrorist plots in the last year broken up by the FBI?

There have been some white supremacist terrorist attacks in recent years, most notably the mass shooting at the Squirrel Hill synagogue. The militia nonsense is a leftover from the Clinton administration.

But all of this is an introduction to Biden pushing domestic CVE.

I was harshly critical of CVE or Countering Violent Extremism when the Obama administration launched it to fight Islamic terrorism. It’s the job of the government to go after organizations, not ideas. Biden is now officially launching a domestic CVE program to target bad ideas.

With bad ideas.

The fourth pillar is where Biden’s new national strategy for countering domestic terrorism goes really toxic.

“Every component of the government has a role to play in rooting out racism and bigotry and advancing equity,” the fourth pillar declares.

It’s not the job of the government to “root out racism and bigotry”. That smacks of an ideological war. And equity, as opposed to equality, is a critical race theory buzzword.

The conclusion of this creepy document declares that “the U.S. Government will also work to find ways to counter the polarization often fueled by disinformation, misinformation, and dangerous conspiracy theories online, supporting an information environment that fosters healthy democratic discourse.”

This is how totalitarian regimes talk and work. It’s the Europeanization of the Democrats who now sound like EU officials.

The Constitution is pretty clear that it’s not the job of the government to fight “disinformation, misinformation, and dangerous conspiracy theories” especially when Democrats define anything and everything they disagree with as “disinformation, misinformation, and dangerous conspiracy theories”.

As we just saw with the lab leak theory, the censors are partisan and often wrong.

Furthermore “supporting an information environment that fosters healthy democratic discourse” is Newspeak for heavy regulation and censorship.

Healthy democratic discourse sounds a whole lot like discourse that Democrats think is healthy. And the Dems have made no secret of their desire to increase internet censorship and make Freedom of Speech into a dead letter. That will help accelerate the crackup, feed violent reactions and give them exactly the pretext they’re looking for to eliminate even more political freedoms.
