Congressman Marches The National Guard To Confront Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene At Her Office

How frightening. This is the very definition of “intimidation.”

This publicity stunt was orchestrated by Guam Rep. Michael F.Q. San Nicolas to intimidate Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. All because Greene referred to Guam as foreign land. Totally shocking. House minority leader Kevin McCarthy needs to condemn this kind of open bullying in Congress from the Left. If a Republican male did this to AOC, it would be the end of his political career.

Congressman Brings National Guard To Confront Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Over Guam Status Gaffe

By Legal Insurrection, March 15, 2021

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene made a comment lumping Guam in with foreign countries which should not receive U.S. tax dollars. The Guam Post reported:

“I’m a regular, normal person. And I wanted to take my regular – normal person, normal, everyday American values, which is: We love our country. We believe our hard-earned tax dollars should just go for America – not for what, China, Russia, the Middle East, Guam – whatever, wherever,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Feb. 27 at the Conservative Political Action Conference, which headlined former President Donald Trump. “If we want to build roads, if we want to put money into schools, if we want to build border walls, we want it right here at home. This is easy to me; it’s easy to us, but it’s not easy to Washington.”

While Guam is not a state, it is a U.S. territory and it’s residents are U.S. citizens. In perfectly appropriate responses, cookies and books were sent to Greene, the Guam Post further reported:

“Congresswoman Greene is a new member, and we will be paying a visit to her and delivering delicious Chamorro Chip Cookies as part of our ongoing outreach to new members to introduce them to our wonderful island of Guam,” said Del. Michael San Nicolas. He also referred to using “cookie diplomacy” in Congress during his annual address to the Legislature last year.

From the governor’s office, director of communications Krystal Paco-San Agustin said: “We would be more than happy to send Representative Greene’s office a copy of ‘Destiny’s Landfall: A History of Guam.’ “

In a totally inappropriate move, Guam Congressman Michael San Nicolas, who is under an ethics investigation, led a group of Guam National Guard in uniform to Greene’s office to confront her. She wasn’t there at the time, but the visual of military-fatigued National Guard engaging in a political protest directed at a Congressman, in the halls of the Capitol no less, was another sign that the military is losing its bearing in the age of Biden.

Here is the video, posted by The Hill:

After the attacks by official military Twitter accounts and officials on Tucker Carlson for his criticism of military wokeness, this stunt of using the National Guard to confront a Congressman is another sign of how politicized the military is becoming in the service of Democrats.

I have an idea. How about the military go back to staying out of politics.
