The elitist hypocrite John Kerry has utter contempt for the American people. He clearly thinks that we are all beneath him. It is actually shocking that Kerry decided to fly commercial, instead of using his wife’s private jet to travel.

John Kerry caught maskless on flight, American Airlines ‘looking into’ apparent COVID violation

U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry was spotted on a flight not wearing his mask in violation of President Biden’s airline mask mandate.

Kerry was not eating or drinking while his mask was off, one of the few instances passengers are allowed to lower their masks on flights, according to the Tennessee Star, which obtained a photograph of Kerry on the flight. Kerry was photographed reading a book in his first-class seat with his mask hanging from one ear on American Airlines flight AA2129 from Boston to Washington, D.C., just before takeoff.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued an order that went into effect last month that requires passengers to “wear masks that cover both the mouth and nose when awaiting, boarding, traveling on, or disembarking public conveyances. People must also wear masks when entering or on the premises of a transportation hub in the United States.”

American Airlines issued a press release shortly after, saying the company would fully comply with the new federal mandate, noting that the regulation will also help its employees in enforcing the rules.

“Our mask requirement has been and will continue to be a critical component of our comprehensive effort to protect the health and well-being of our customers and team members during the pandemic,” Chief Operating Officer David Seymour said in the release. “This federal mandate will provide additional support to our crew members who are working diligently to enforce our policy and further reinforce the safety of air travel during COVID-19.”

Biden has stressed proper hygiene and mask mandates as a tool to combat the virus as people await their turn to receive one of the three available coronavirus vaccines.

“We need everyone to get vaccinated. We need everyone to keep washing their hands, stay socially distanced, and keep wearing the masks as recommended by the CDC,” Biden said in an address to the nation last week.

The story isn’t the first time Kerry has created controversy aboard an aircraft, with reports in 2019 that Kerry took a private aircraft to Iceland in order to receive an award for his work on climate change. Such a trip emits 40 times more carbon than a passenger flying on a commercial aircraft, yet Kerry defended the use of the jet as the “only option” for a person in his position.
