Biden removes mention of Dr. Seuss from Read Across America Day
President Biden removed mentions of Dr. Seuss from Read Across America Day amid accusations of “racial undertones” in the classic, whimsical tales for children.

Read Across America Day, started by the National Educational Association in 1998 as a way to promote children’s reading, is even celebrated on the author’s March 2 birthday.
In his presidential proclamation, Biden noted that “for many Americans, the path to literacy begins with story time in their school classroom,” USA Today reported.
But unlike his two predecessors, former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, Biden did not mention Dr. Seuss.
The move comes as Dr. Seuss’ work has generated controversy following a study highlighting a lack of diversity among the author’s characters.
“Of the 2,240 (identified) human characters, there are forty-five characters of color representing 2% of the total number of human characters,” according to a 2019 study from the Conscious Kid’s Library and the University of California that examined 50 of Dr. Seuss’ books.
Last week, a Virginia school district ordered its teachers to avoid “connecting Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss” because of recent research that allegedly “revealed strong racial undertones” in many of the author’s books.

What about Tom & Jerry cartoons: are they ‘gonna’ be next on the blacklist or hitlist for the pc commissars? Some delicate wallflowers might find the scenes with the black housemaid shouting ‘Taa-mess’ constantly at Tom in the kitchen stereotypical & offensive!

Where first they burn books then they will burn people. I was reading thrrough my copy of Magic Mountain, by Thomas Mann the last few days, and i can tell you, this Biden charicter and his lackey dog gog enabelers are really starting to scare me.

Interestingly, what the moronic Democrats don’t seem to understand is that Dr. Suess was a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT! And everything he wrote for kids was EXCELLENT, both at the time, and STILL is!! Iven Obozo knew Seuss was a great writer for kids – AND adults!

This has got to be the fu**ing craziest thing I have ever heard. A lack of diversity in characters in a fictional children’s book? They went through and counted the race of the FICTIONAL characters? Don’t you people have something PRODUCTIVE to do? Who does this? Some lunatic sitting in his pajamas in his mother’s basement, that’s who. Good grief, get a job! This virtue signalling scrap is getting way out of hand.
