Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s statements (which have been distorted by the MSM) are a big nothing burger. However, the Dems know that the GOP leadership will not defend Greene against this smear campaign. The GOP is a joke.

Story continues below advertisementRep. Marjorie Taylor Greene ripped Democrats for moving to strip her of committee slots, warning that the rare punishment could come back to haunt them if the GOP retakes the House majority in 2022.
“If Democrats remove me from my committees, I can assure them that the precedent they are setting will be used extensively against members on their side once we regain the majority after the 2022 elections,” she wrote in one of over two dozen tweets Monday.
“And we will regain the majority, make no mistake about that,” she added.

Democrats angered with some of her preelection online postings, which some said are threatening, and her strident support for former President Donald Trump have said they will punish her by taking away her committee assignments.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer is leading the effort. “Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene must be held accountable for her reprehensible statements, and I am discussing with members the best course of action to do so,” he said in a story posted by the Washington Examiner’s chief congressional correspondent Susan Ferrechio.
The Democrat mob and Fake News Media smear campaign launched against me is simply a continuation of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Here’s the truth, though, their derangement isn’t directed at @realDonaldTrump or MTG.

In other tweets today, Greene said that the Democrats and media are plotting to sideline her because she is an outsider who strongly aligned with Trump’s America First policies, including withdrawing from long-simmering wars.
“The DC Swamp and the Fake News Media are attacking me because I am not one of them. I am one of you. And they hate me for it,” she wrote in one.

It would have been helpful had the ink stained wretches at Geller Report Staff had bestirred themselves to cite examples of how Greene’s (not Green- she hails from Protestant ancestry) comments had been distorted, but they didn’t. Ref 1 below contains the following snippets from Greene’s online history. I’m sorry, but someone in public life should not be applauding comments about executing FBI agents:
In one post, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that said “a bullet to the head would be quicker” to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the “deep state” working against Trump.
OTOH, I find myself sympathetic Greene on this matter (op. cit.):
In one Facebook post from April 2018, Greene wrote conspiratorially about the Iran Deal, one of former President Barack Obama’s signature foreign policy achievements. A commenter asked Greene, “Now do we get to hang them ?? Meaning H & O ???,” referring to Obama and Hillary Clinton. Greene replied, “Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off.”
I see, a disastrous, unsigned agreement giving murderous thugs an open pathway to WMD is a “signature foreign policy achievement.” Well I guess so, if you support Islamists and the welcome the arrival of the Mahdi. But as shown in Ref 2 and 3, Greene has a history of associating herself with truly awful conspiracy theories, including that
the 2018 pipe bomb packages to members of Congress and others a hoax and a bizarre Facebook post that echoed QAnon conspiracy theorists and falsely claimed that the real and hidden culprit behind the disaster was a laser from space triggered by some nefarious group of people. (Jews, I believe).
Greene should not be in a leadership role in the GOP or in Congress. People like her will drive- are driving, actually- responsible conservatives away from the party.

I absolutely do too! She has an intrepid spirit. She is exactly what true Conservatives ought to be like! She has bravery, fortitude, and a strong backbone of conviction. I surely hope that she can get past this difficult, precarious time, with the evil Marxist Democrats having the upper hand in power, with the main-stream-news-media fiercely taking their side in everything. May MTG brave & withstand the current political hurricane, with her Congressional membership intact. Even if the treacherous Demon-rats were to actually strip her of her committee assignments, which would be grossly unfair & improper.
Why hasn’t Representative Eric Swalwell been made to give up his committee memberships, due to his extracurricular conduct?! Oh yeah, that’s right: because he’s a Democrat, and they can pretty-much get away with anything! Heck, that collusion jackal, who had intimate relations with a Chinese secret agent, is on his way to being an impeachment-proceedings manager, and a working guest in the Senate chamber, so esteemed is he amongst the Dem party leadership elite in the Representative House! This is all truly nutty stuff!

Long ago, I ceased using the term “anti-Semite” or “anti-Semitic” and call those pieces of trash what they are: Racist Jew Haters.
When you call a black that, they stutter, stammer, (they’d turn red if they could), slobber, and don’t know what to do,

When (or should that be “IF?”) the dust settles on this new freshman Rep,, I think more will be known about her and what she REALLY believes. Right now, I’m a bit suspicious of all the naysaying about her, ’cause she seems to have ticked off all the libs, Deep Staters and Never-Trumpers – in other words, all the people we usually LIKE to tick off!! The word, “wacko,” has been bandied around a good deal regarding Rep. Greene, but I think she’s dumb like a fox!! So, where were all the pearl-clutchers when AOC and her ilk kept mouthing off about everyone? “What’s sauce for the goose may not be sauce for the gander?!?”

I understand she was elected with some 70% of the vote. So…the DemonRats did not like what she was saying during her campaign and want to “punish” her for saying them. If this is true the DemonRats are usurping her districts votes and their right to elect whom they see fit. This has got to be illegal somewhere in the Constitution or CFR’s I would think. I guess it is OK for the “squad” say what they want to say calling Jews animals and blood suckers Cruz tried to murder me. Lying that the riot people came for her when she wasn’t even there. How so we hold the line with such attacks by the media and the DemonRats. These people have a sickness.
