Liz Cheney gets 2022 primary challenger after Trump impeachment vote

Story continues below advertisementRep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., one of the top Republicans in the House of Representatives, has a primary challenger for the 2022 election after voting to impeach President Donald Trump.
Wyoming state Sen. Anthony Bouchard threw his hat in the ring, according to a statement of candidacy filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission. Bouchard has represented District 6 of Wyoming since 2017, according to Ballotpedia.
“I expect Never Trumpers to do this stuff. But Cheney should be run out of town, and back to Virginia for joining the blame game!” Bouchard wrote on Facebook in January after Cheney’s impeachment vote.
Cheney has represented Wyoming’s At-Large Congressional District since 2017.

The Wyoming GOP condemned Cheney earlier in January for voting with nine other House Republicans to impeach Trump on charges of “incitement of an insurrection.”
“By announcing her decision to vote for impeachment Representative Cheney denied President Trump due process; she judged the ‘evidence’ before it was presented and refused to listen to the arguments made,” the Wyoming GOP said in a statement last week.
An online petition to recall Cheney on Change.org has more than 35,000 signatures.

What if one group of Christians believes it is moral to exclude transsexuals from holding public office, while another believes in forgiveness and tolerance and demands that transsexuals not be barred from public office?

we need to be realistic. Christians who followed the pope…. where did that get them? A block of people have varied opinions on everything. Not a feasible plan. Nice thought in the 50’s but we’re too far gone now. 1/2 don’t know what’s going on to make a cogent decision. How illustrative – we are already arguing over ONE word so how could we agree to a platform!!! There are so many to get out it makes my head spin.
You can count the decent ones in the House and Senate on two hands and I am being generous.
We don’t have enough time for that even if we could have a clean vote and no censorship. He’s already prioritizing illegals, stopped deportations, “studying” the wall and seeing how it can come down, opening up the border, bringing in Muslim terrorists, er refugees and “immigrants”. He’s putting us back to 2015 with all the problems and more. Trumps accomplishments will be quickly undone.
They have complete control. Plus he WILL pack the Supreme Court. That is how he will DISARM US.
And people sit back and fantasize about 2022 midterms and taking it back through the vote – good luck with that. Look how they got Trump out and there will be even more censorship there.
