Trump campaign asks SCOTUS to take Wisconsin election case

Story continues below advertisementMILWAUKEE – President Donald Trump Tuesday, Dec. 29 asked the Supreme Court of the United States to review the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision which rejected his challenge of votes in Milwaukee and Dane counties.
Rudy Giuliani, the Trump campaign’s lead attorney, announced the campaign filed a petition for a Writ of Certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court challenging the Wisconsin Supreme Court decision “that allowed over 50,000 illegal absentee ballots in violation of Article II of the U.S. Constitution and Wisconsin law.” The filing seeks expedited consideration before the Jan. 6 Congressional review of the Electoral College votes.
A statement from the campaign said it marks the second Constitutional challenge to illegal mail voting filed by the campaign following a petition from Pennsylvania filed on Dec. 20.

“Regrettably, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, in their 4-3 decision, refused to address the merits of our claim,” said President Trump’s lead Wisconsin Attorney Jim Troupis in the statement. “This ‘Cert Petition’ asks them to address our claims, which, if allowed, would change the outcome of the election in Wisconsin. Three members of the Wisconsin State Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice, agreed with many of the President’s claims in written dissents from that court’s December 14 order.”
The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Dec. 14 rejected Trump’s lawsuit attempting to overturn his loss to Democrat Joe Biden in the battleground state, ending Trump’s legal challenges in state court about an hour before the Electoral College was to meet to cast the state’s 10 votes for Biden.
The ruling came a day after a federal judge dismissed another Trump lawsuit seeking to overturn his loss in the state. Trump appealed that ruling.
Trump sought to have more than 221,000 ballots disqualified in Dane and Milwaukee counties, the state’s two most heavily Democratic counties. He wanted to disqualify absentee ballots cast early and in-person, saying there wasn’t a proper written request made for the ballots; absentee ballots cast by people who claimed “indefinitely confined” status; absentee ballots collected by poll workers at Madison parks; and absentee ballots where clerks filled in missing information on ballot envelopes.
Biden won Wisconsin by about 20,600 votes, a margin of 0.6% that withstood a Trump-requested recount in Milwaukee and Dane counties, the two with the most Democratic votes. Trump did not challenge any ballots cast in the counties he won.

I didn’t save the link but in CA, a couple developed COVID – nothing major and social services came and removed their kids from their house. That’s outrageous and they got away with it. In NYC, they want to keep restaurants closed till September of 2021! Only about 1.3% of COVID is generated there. They are also blaming family gatherings from Thanksgiving and Christmas for a “spike”.
They want you isolated submissive, and impoverished. These “stimulus checks” of either $600 or $2,000 are going to be used to get you to buy into Universal Basic Income if these ridiculous virus shut downs continue. You have to rise up and force them to open states up and return your freedom! You have to make them fear you while you still can. Your freedom of speech is going away… your gun rights will follow if Biden gets in…..and then what are you left with?

3 years agoIf SCOTUS will not intervene in the largest Constitutional Crisis in the history of the U.S., then
1. SCOTUS has become nothing more than a social club, or
2. Influenced by Justice Roberts, they are afraid of the Democrats, or
3. They have proven that they can be bought and paid for.Regardless, they are putting the burden on the shoulders of American Patriots .
3 years agoPresident Trump and the American Patriots are trying to resolve this under the Rule of Law – but if those that represent the Rule of Law are afraid to get involved – then, by whatever means is required, this must be resolved or there is no Rule of Law and the Constitutional Republic is at great risk. SCOTUS must understand – or maybe they do – that without them our options are limited.
3 years agoThis Wisconsin case is a joke. The Texas case had merit and wasn’t even adjucated properly. Only two justices voted to further the , what would have been, a just and fair request. The fix is in. The deep state is way too far entrenched. Two options left. Invoke the insurrection act, as former presidents Lincoln and Roosevelt had done, or call up the militias.
3 years agoThis failure of the courts to address issues that involve the POTUS and a national election should lead to a reassessment of the failure of the entire system in dealing with ordinary American citizens.
The courts at ALL levels behave in an arbitrary fashion for which judges face no consequences for not doing their jobs, for making arbitrary decisions, for not following law, for making illegal decisions that result in harm for which they suffer no consequences. They force you to state your complex case in 2 minutes and if you can’t well too bad. This is the very reason that we ordinary citizens are always pressured by attorneys to “settle” cases out of court – we never have ANY idea of what judges will say or do – and their words are final.
JUDGES AT ALL LEVELS ARE SO ARBITRARY AND UNPREDICTABLE THAT NONE OF US EVER HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT THEY WILL SAY OR DO NO MATTER HOW LEGITIMATE OUR CASES MAY BE! THE REALITY FOR US ORDINARY CITIZENS IS THAT WE HAVE NO EFFECTIVE LEGAL SYSTEM.

The Constitution REQUIRES that “judges”, both superior & inferior, hold their Office ONLY DURING GOOD BEHAVIOR.
Personally, I do not think that Malfeasance of Office, or Treason, would be considered “good behavior”.
Trump MUST remove these “judges” who breach their SWORN OATHTrump MUST remove these “judges” who breach the Constitution.
Treason is Treason, no matter what level the Treason occurs.
A great many democrats, judges, politicians, law enforcement, have breached their SWORN OATH to uphold the Constitution.
A great many democrats, judges, politicians, law enforcement, have MADE WAR AGAINST THE REPUBLIC – this, BY DEFINITION, is TREASON and must be dealt with as such.
Mr. Trump ….. if YOU do not abide by and uphold the Constitution, then it is up to WE, THE PEOPLE, who MUST, AND WILL, do so in ‘your’ stead …. AS REQUIRED BY THE CONSTITUTION – this is the “Why” of the Second Amendment ……. in order to retain our Republic as our Founders created it.

Trump’s fraud claims HAD their “day in court.” In fact, those claims have had over 50 of them. And not one of his substantive claims had ANY evidence to back it up, sufficient for the courts to take any of those cases beyond the early-dismissal stage. (The only “win” was one requiring a local election board to allow Trump’s pollwatchers to stand a bit closer to the counting than the board had originally allowed — due to COVID risk.)
One could almost believe Trump and his devoted echo chamber of Rudy, Sydney, et al. have never heard the saying that defines insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
