BREAKING: Trump Administration Will Join Texas Lawsuit Against Battleground States

The Trump administration will be intervening in a lawsuit in front of the Supreme Court filed by Texas against four other states over alleged violations of election law.
President Donald Trump announced that the federal government would be intervening in the case on the side of Texas on Wednesday morning, claiming that Texas’ suit is “the big one.”
“We will be INTERVENING in the Texas (plus many other states) case. This is the big one. Our Country needs a victory!” Trump said.

Earlier in the morning, Trump hyped the Texas lawsuit after the Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit from a Pennsylvania GOP lawmaker to stop the state from certifying its election, a blow to the Trump campaign and its efforts to challenge election results in the battleground state.
“This was not my case as has been so incorrectly reported. The case that everyone has been waiting for is the State’s case with Texas and numerous others joining. It is very strong, ALL CRITERIA MET. How can you have a presidency when a vast majority think the election was RIGGED?” Trump said.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit on Tuesday against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin arguing that the states should be blocked from voting in the electoral college over alleged violations of election law. The Supreme Court ordered the states to respond to the suit by Thursday.

“Trust in the integrity of our election processes is sacrosanct and binds our citizenry and the States in this Union together,” Paxton said in a statement. “Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin destroyed that trust and compromised the security and integrity of the 2020 election. The states violated statutes enacted by their duly elected legislatures, thereby violating the Constitution.”

They’d better decide this properly or they too will become irrelevant. Maybe self preservation vanity will kick in. Biden plans on packing the court and they won’t be so special.

Migrant Caravans Head to US Border

Joe Biden has pledged to abolish many of the migration policies of Donald Trump, including prolonged detention and separation of families, which were designed to deter illegal migration. This encourages more impoverished Central Americans to make the trip and test the Biden administration, said Gonzalez.
“When there is a change in government in the U.S. or Mexico, caravans start to move because they are testing the waters to see how authorities respond,” he said. “What they see is that the one who said he was going to build a wall and hated Latinos is on his way out.”
Newsmax has not called the election for Biden, citing the numerous legal complaints mounted by the Trump campaign.
On social media, announcements are circulating for caravans, groups of migrants traveling together, leaving San Pedro Sula, Honduras’s second-largest city, which was hit by both storms. The first caravan is scheduled to leave in the coming days and the second in mid-January.
Biden’s advisers are hoping to shift away from Trump’s policies if they take office without signaling that the border has been flung open, according to people familiar with the planning. They know that swift, sweeping changes will spur more people to attempt the journey to the U.S.
“President-elect Joe Biden will restore order, dignity and fairness to our immigration system,” said Ned Price, a spokesman for Biden’s transition. “At its core, his immigration policy will be driven by the need to keep families together and end the disastrous policy of family separation.”

Newsmax Scores Ratings Victory Over Fox News Channel

Newsmax TV scored its first ratings victory over rival Fox News Channel, eclipsing the Murdoch-owned outlet in a key demographic on Monday night.
“Greg Kelly Reports,” which airs 7-8 p.m. EST, beat
“The Story with Martha McCallum” in the 25- to 54-year-old audience demographic.
Kelly drew an average of 229,000 viewers for the hour while
McCallum pulled in 203,000, CNN reported.

CNN called the ratings win a “milestone,” also noting that Monday’s total average for viewers was 949,000, according to Nielsen. It explained that the 25-54 audience demo is critical since it is the most looked at by advertisers.
Ruddy noted that Newsmax is also streamed on a variety of platforms not measured by Nielsen.
Earlier this month, Nielsen showed Newsmax TV out distancing Fox Business and CNBC between 6 p.m. and midnight, downloads of the Newsmax exceeded a half million and its website also was seeing significant growth.

This is the land of dollars. That’s all it is to most people now. That’s all it is to them too. We may as well print new maps with “Land of Dollars” in place of the United States.
