Israel: Muslims torch Christmas trees of Greek Orthodox and Greek Catholic Christian communities
The Christmas trees of the Greek Orthodox and the Greek Catholic Churches in Sakhnin, an Arab city in Israel’s Northern District, were torched by unidentified people early today.
Story continues below advertisementA prominent member of the local Greek Orthodox church assured this writer that the suspects are local Muslims whom the Israeli police are presently taking steps to arrest. Local Muslims, in an act of solidarity, gathered near the two churches to clean up the debris.
This attack comes after Hamas in Gaza initiated a campaign to restrict people’s interaction with Christmas in Gaza, which was followed by the launch of a social media campaign affirming that Christian holidays are infidel festivals.
The city’s population, mostly Muslim with a small Christian minority, has lived peacefully, while the rate of Christians has declined due to Christian immigration to more Christian-populated cities such as Nazareth and Shefa Amr. Sakhnin has the largest number of Sufi Muslims within Israel, with an estimated 80 members.
Social media reactions reflected the bitterness that many Christians feel in light of the continuing growth of the Islamic movement in Israel, which makes them re-examine their own identity. “ISIS members are still roaming, having fun, and multiplying like snakes. We will see more of that in the near future,” said Ibrahim Khair, a music teacher.
In Bethlehem, Nativity TV posted the incident on its Facebook page, while several social media activists expressed pain and fear about what had happened. “The vessel exudes what is inside it. This is how they express their religious tolerance,” wrote Elyas Gorges whose profile indicates he resides in Qamshileh, Syria.
The Israeli Christian Aramaic Association director, Shady Khloul, expressed his anger as he left the Maronite Church in Jesh, Israel, after attending morning mass. He posted on his Facebook page this statement,
We strongly condemn the burning of the Christmas trees in Sakhnin. These are Arab ISIS members who are frolicking in the country like wolves. Like bandits, they burn and flee. If the Christmas tree is something you don’t like, dare to speak out so we know what to do with you. If it was a Jew, the Christian Arabist Communists would have attacked him like a hornet.
Do not worry and celebrate the feast. It is the birth of Jesus Christ in our hearts. Merry Christmas!
Israel is scheduled for another general election in March 2021, which will be its fourth vote within the last two years. “This incident should be a reminder to the Christians in Israel to vote for the Jewish parties rather than to waste their votes on inept Arab candidates,” said Neveen Makhoul, deputy director of the Israeli Christian Aramaic Association, voicing her anger in a conversation with this writer.
It is worth noting that the Islamic movement in Nazareth launched a campaign of provocation last October, aimed at the Christian community in the city where Jesus lived most of his life, according to the tradition. This began following a French teacher’s use of a drawing of Muhammad in his class.

It is tragic that the presence of democracy and freedom of expression in Israel encourages the Islamic movements to show their hostility to Israel and non-Muslim minorities. Many Israeli Muslims have left the country to join ISIS in Syria.
This proves that the Islamic dictatorship will usurp absolute power by using democracy as a ladder to achieve power. Hamas exemplifies this in Gaza, and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, while Erdogan intends to become the new undisputed Caliph of Islam.

Apparent few in America know what life was like for ordinary Russian citizens when communism determined life in the Soviet Union. The state replaced God, millions landed in slave camps of the gulag where they rotted and died. IF they did that in America, PATRIOTS would hang ’em high as an example to other Muslims. ME, also a Patriot, would arrest them, charge them, and hopefully, they would spend 20 years in prison, but that depends of course, on if it was a Democrat Judge or a Constitutional Judge.

Just a few months ago, churches (yes … in the United States of America) were being defiled, burned, statutes and crosses torn down and urinated upon …. where were the brave American “PATRIOTS”?
“BlacK Lives Matter” rioters did that to (estimated) seventy-six churches.
I didn’t see one news article wherein American “PATRIOTS” hanged a single one of the “Black Lives Matter” rioters guilty of that offense.

Neither did I. The best action against Muslims occurred in Nigeria in 2016 when the the president hired 2- 3 hundred South African mercenaries, mostly white, to deal with Boko Haram Muslims. In 3 1/2 months they did to those bloody Muslims what the entre Nigerian army had failed to do in 6 years – and they took no prisoners.
Compare this with what the U.S., Kurds and others did with ISIS members they captured in Iraq and Syria. They made them prisoners and allowed these barbaric savages to return to their home countries. Pathetic! Those bastard Muslims had sadistically murdered children, men and women. The had raped, mass murdered older Yazidi women, and sold women and girls into sex slavery – and Americans allowed this vermin to live? What Christians were doing during the Crusades was in response to what muslims had been doing to Christian pilgrims. The Crusades were to protect pilgrims and retake Christian lands.
Muslims were also making raids on Europe to take young girls for concubines and slaves, and young boys to fill the ranks of their army.
How about talking about the 80 million Hindus the muslim conquerors of India slaughtered, mostly by beheadings.
Then again, Obama was educated in a madras when he was young. His school records from then list him as “muslim”. Maybe that is the source or his ignorance, or maybe he is just ignorant. I put my money on the latter.

Not really sure where you are disagreeing with me, it was a war that had to be fought to protect and take back Christian lands, the crusaders just couldn’t help themselves and were as bad as the musings they were fighting against by robbing and raping all non Christians along the way.

You are full of yourself as you are not the only one that has said that Obama is the Antichrist. There is the YouTube channel “Alfonso Leyson” who hardly anyone listens too saying the same. Not until the person who is killed by a sword strike to the head and comes back to life two days later with the spirit of Satan inside him calling himself god can that be a certainty. Could see it happen yet this month per Leyson.
All Buddhism gets anyone is eternal death not recognizing King Eashoa as God who made Buddha. True Christianity is not a religion being the only Way to eternal life. I live in a Buddhist country! Most only give the religion of Buddhism a rare pray at the temple or pagoda exce[t for monks and nuns compared to packed church services on a weekly basis from what I observe firsthand. Some Mosques are closed for lack of attendance because of the virus and strained finances with 14 mosques and only 2500 adult Muslims in the city.

You really don’t know enough about the Crusades to comment as you did. In fact you sound just like my two clueless sisters on this subject. 400 years of Muslim assault on southern Europe prior to the Crusades count for nothing. You should try getting hold of Robert Spencer’s ‘The politically incorrect guide to ISLAM (AND THE CRUSADES) instead of wallowing in ignorance.
The initial primary aim of the crusades was to stop Muslim assaults on Europe, help the declining Byzantine Empire defeat the Turk invaders, throw the Muslims out of Jerusalem, stop their desecration of Christian holy sites and stop their slaughter of European Christian pilgrims.
The paupers crusade did murder Jews down the Rhine, but it was not the intention of the prince’s crusade to specifically murder Jews in Jerusalem. Unfortunately in 1099 Jews of Jerusalem helped the Muslims fight the Crusaders – and for that paid a heavy price when. incredibly, the Crusaders overcame all odds, breached the walls and overcame the city.
That the Crusades were not without actions worthy of criticism is abundantly evident, but we can thank them heartily for defeating the Ottoman Muslims twice outside Vienna, in 1683 smashing their army and sending them on a brutal and protracted withdrawal. Thus we can thank them for preventing Islam from ruling Europe and plaguing it with Muslim savagery – only to have stupid, cowardly, believe in nothing modern European and British leaders allow in the savage hoards to rape young British and other girls, stab, throw acid in faces, and murder. Other than Viktor Orban of Hungary and the leaders of Poland, Europe’s leaders are cowardly and stupid low-life devoid of decent values and core beliefs. Who but very stupid individuals allow Muslim excreta to enter in the millions?

I know a lot about the crusades and studied them in college before political correctness took over our institutions of higher education. The reason the Jews allied with the Muslims were Christians were spreading lies about Jews as well as slaughtering Jews and stealing Jewish antiquities that are still hidden in the vatican to never be returned.
The Crusades started out as a noble goal to return Christianity to areas Islam conquered, sadily the Dhimmi Jews lived better safer lives at the time under Islamic rule then they did in Christian Ruled areas,
The Crusades merely paused the takeover of Europe by Islam, by 2030ish Western Europe will be ruled by Islam.

Right now in Ho Chi Minh there are 14 mosques and only 2,500 adult Muslims living in the province. They are planning something far in the future there for an immigration invasion most likely like the naive EU politicians allowed with some being bribed of course just like many others in the West.

When, according to you, did this happen? Christians in the Middle East in 1099 were similarly living dhimmi lives under Muslim rule and not in a position to spread lies about Jews, steal Jewish artifacts, or slaughter Jews. By the way, after 26 years of marriage I was widowed in a tragedy and when I re-married I married a Jew who is still my wife, so disinclined to minimize injustices against Jews. It is my impression that the Roman Catholic Church did Jews a terrible injustice when perpetrating the rubbish that all Jews were responsible for Jesus’ crucifixion, when it was the Sanhedrin that was responsible.
It’s my impression that by the time the First Crusade arrived at Jerusalem, the Jews of Jerusalem had learned of the pauper crusade pogroms down the Rhine, so considered it in their interest to help the Muslims in their failed efforts to keep out the crusaders.
Maybe God has His plans for Europe and at last will have had His gutsfull of Islam and useless European leaders who today believe in nothing, neither God, Christianity nor Western civilization. In my opinion Angela Merkel and other fools like Macron and Boris Johnson are pagan dregs of humanity and no friends of Jews or Israel. Europe has turned its back on God, is like a lost fart in a haunted outhouse and paying the price for its paganism.
For the most part, the West is now utterly cowardly, a reality highlighted by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in his 1978 Harvard commencement address. Having grown up in South Africa and although white I now have a thoroughly jaundiced view of contemporary Europe and most Western Europeans. Europeans have no shame regarding their gutless cowardice. If they weren’t gutless they’d take action against Muslims when their police and other authorities fail them following Muslim rapes, mass rapes of young girls, murders and desecration of their churches. On the other hand, North America is a mess, America hate-filled and divided, thanks largely to liberals and believe-in-nothing Republican cowards. Canada with a totally shallow fool in Justinass Trudeau, a disgusting media and total lack of real leaders at every level, is going nowhere. The world is in a mess. No place for faint hearts.

The Muslim attacks within the Mediterranean Sea stopped cheap transportation of goods to Europe plus the loss of trade routes though the Middle East and North Africa where Muslims totally destroyed much of the Christian and Jewish culture with loss of those trade routes by Muslim pirates. All this caused the Dark Ages of Europe. If you go to parts of North Africa today you will find Muslims today with Spanish first and last names thinking they are Islamic names.
Your comments on today’s comments about much of the EU is correct but is not just those leaders than are clueless but in Canada, USA, Australia, Brazil and New Zealand also plus many other nations. China and Indian governments understand the cult of Muhammad it seems in detail to understand it as another competing political ideology that does not play fair. It might have been better to merely give the Japanese an eyewitness account of the Trinity test in NV because vast swathes of Japan were on the verge of starvation due to the destruction of their transportation infrastructure or at least wait until they have figured out for themselves what happened to Hiroshima. Yoko Ono and her incredibly wealthy family were reduced to foraging for berries in the hills after the firebombing of Tokyo.
